CoD NEXT 2026 will be all about the latest Modern Warfare 4, meaning fans can look forward to hours of gameplay showing off the title’s weapons, maps, equipment, and much more. When Is Call of Duty NEXT 2026?
This year’s Call of Duty NEXT event, featuring Modern Warfare 4, will kick off on August 21, 2026, at 9 AM PT (12 PM ET/5 PM BST). Here’s what you can look forward to seeing during the event:

Sticking to tradition, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Open Beta will kick off shortly after the CoD NEXT event. As usual, players who pre-ordered and those who received Early Access beta codes will be the first to experience CoD MW4 from August 21 – 24, 2026.
Following the Early Access weekend, the rest of the players can try out the latest CoD game from August 28 to September 1, 2026. By watching the event’s streams for an hour, you can even earn a free beta code via the Twitch Drops program.
How to Watch Call of Duty NEXT event
Call of Duty NEXT will be streamed live on CoD’s official Twitch and YouTube channels. Thus, you can tune in to either one of these platforms to catch an early glimpse of all-new Modern Warfare 4 features.
