Frenchie played by Tomer Capone’s recasting rumor came to light with a TikTok video released by @invader.zema. They stated that Tomer’s Frenchie would be recast due to certain concerns related to his service in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). However, I have listed a set of reasons for not taking this video seriously.

First of all, the video does not give any official documentation or source regarding Frenchie being recast. Moreover, by the end of the video, we see an advertisement for a fundraiser making it even more clear that this video is nothing more than just a distasteful and unprofessional clickbait for the fundraiser.

Now the part about Tomer Capone serving in the IDF is true, he was conscripted into the force in 2004 because military service is compulsory in Israel. Not only this was years before he became a part of The Boys cast but the creators of the show must already know about this since this is even mentioned on his IMDb page.

Also, Tomer Capone is one of the cast members who will be attending the San Diego Comic-Con from July 25 to July 28 to promote The Boys. If there were any plans to recast the actor, he would not have been listed to attend the event.
