Samsung Galaxy Note 9: Here’s What You Get in the Box!

flagship

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9 has hit the market, and it brings some really impressive hardware to the table, such as a bigger battery, hefty 512GB of internal storage, an upgraded S-Pen with Bluetooth functionality and the upgraded DeX functionality. The latest Note flagship is already being tested in our office, and we’ll soon come up with an in-depth review of the device.

But before we dive into the phone, here’s a look at what you get with the Note 9 in the box. Samsung is one of the few manufacturers to add a whole lot of accessories with their phone. Here’s a look at what Samsung packs inside the Galaxy Note 9 retail box.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9: In-Box Accessories

The Galaxy Note 9 comes packaged inside a minimalist black box which just has the Samsung branding on the top, with stickers on the side containing information about the device. Once you open the box, you’ll find all this inside.

  • Galaxy Note 9 smartphone with S Pen
  • Transparent protective cover
  • SIM tray ejector pin
  • Adaptive fast charger
  • USB Type-C cable
  • USB Type-C to Type-A adapter
  • AKG earphones
  • Replacement earbuds
  • Extra S-Pen tips
  • S-Pen tip ejecting tool
  • User guide

Needless to say, the Galaxy Note 9’s box contents are worthy of a flagship device, unlike the sea of mid-range and some high-end devices which pack virtually nothing more than the charger and a USB cable in the name of accessories.

The adaptive fast charger bundled with the Note 9 has an output rating of 9V/1.67A or 5V/2A, tasked with the duty of quickly juicing up the Galaxy Note 9’s 4,000mAh battery. Samsung Galaxy Note 9: Here’s What You Get in the Box!

The replacement S-Pen tips and an S-Pen tip ejector tool are neat additions, which were also seen in the Note 8 retail package.

Lastly, there are the AKG earphones which have now become a mainstay on Samsung’s flagships. The bundled AKG earphones are grey and have an angular earbuds design to provide a more comfortable in-ear fit and with a braided cable below where the cable splits with a rubberized finish for the top half. While we haven’t had the chance to test them out, the AKG earphones that came bundled with the Note 8 were excellent, so the expectations are certainly high.

So, what do you think about the Galaxy Note 9’s retail package contents? Did Samsung miss any accessory that you think must have gone well with the new Note flagship? Do let us know in the comments section below.

Screen protectors or tempered glass protector that actually fits the phone.

DeX pads are like $60 now. If you are spending $1000-$1500 on a phone, quality bluetooth headphones should be included, no question.

  • Ron T says:

Wireless charging pad and maybe bluetooth headphones.

  • Mari says:

Adding the Dex Station, even if the price adds a little more, without having to dole out 150.00 extra, would be great.

  • Vernon Moyse says:

I would have preferred hook-over-ear headphones – my ears seem to reject simple plugs
