The Egghead Island arc kicked off the Final Saga in a grandiose manner and slowly shaped into one of the fan-favorite One Piece arcs. As fans have predicted for a while, the last chapter of the Egghead arc confirmed which island our beloved Straw Hat Pirates will be heading to next after the futuristic island. One Piece chapter 1123 has revealed that we are going to Elbaf Island in the next arc.
The Elbaf island was first talked about in the Little Garden arc. From then on, long-time One Piece fans have been patiently waiting to see the European-inspired Elbaf island in One Piece. Thanks to Emet, who unleashed JoyBoy’s conqueror haki to knock out a majority of the Marines and send the Gorosei (except St. Saturn) back to Mary Geoise, our beloved characters can finally move out of the futuristic Island.
As the route is clear now, the Straw Hat Pirates are set to visit their dream island. After around 25 years, we are finally setting sail to “Elbaf — the homeland of giants,” as confirmed in chapter 1123 of the One Piece manga.
As fans have predicted for a while, the next arc will take place on Elbaf Island. Hence, it will most likely be titled the Elbaf arc. We have already visited and got a glimpse of the island in several arcs like Linlin’s backstory and while visiting Shanks and his crew. However, we will see Elbaf in a full-fledged manner in the upcoming arc.
Currently, we don’t know how the story will unfold in the Elbaf arc. However, we expect Usopp to play a vital role in this Norse mythology-inspired tale and step up to become the brave warrior of the sea.
Earlier this year, the Jump Calendar accidentally revealed we will be heading to Elbaf in November 2024, but this arc appears to be starting a little sooner. Or, maybe we will get a short arc before we reach the Giant’s homeland.
