My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Storyline
Before we discuss the plot, you should know that MHA creator Kohei Horikoshi didn’t develop the spin-off series, Vigilantes. It was created by Hideyuki Furuhashi and illustrated by Betten Court. If you are wondering whether MHA Vigilantes is canon, the answer is yes. It is considered canon by Kohei Horikoshi.
According to the anime’s official website, here is the synopsis of MHA: Vigilantes – Haimawa Koichi is a dull college student who has given up on his dream of becoming a hero. His secret pleasure is wandering around the city in an All Might cosplay, pretending to be a professional hero and helping people.
Koichi lives an ordinary life, but he meets the self-proclaimed idol star Pop Step, who performs unauthorized guerrilla live shows, and the mysterious masked man Knuckleduster, who calls himself a “cleaner specializing in trash,” and gets caught up in the activities of the “Vigilantes.”
Are these people who can save people illegally criminals who disrupt order, or vigilantes of justice?
