MSI has today launched the GS65 Stealth Thin gaming laptop powered by the latest 8th Gen Intel Core i7 Coffee Lake processor. The new MSI device features a sleek, ultraportable form factor, thanks to 4.9mm thin bezels and an 82% screen-to-body ratio, which gives it an overall smaller footprint compared to other gaming laptops from MSI.
The MSI GS65 Stealth Thin boots Windows 10 Home (Windows 10 Pro optional) and features a 15.6″ Full HD IPS display with an impressive 144Hz refresh rate and 7ms response time for a superior visual experience. The laptop is equipped with a SteelSeries designed backlit keyboard whose individual keys can be customized to a different shade and illumination effect.
Under the hood, the MSI GS65 Stealth Thin features the hexacore 8th Gen Intel Core i7 (8750H) processor, with an Intel HM370 chipset and up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM ticking alongside. Graphics performance is handled by an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card with 8GB GDDR5 graphics memory, however, MSI also offers a lower end version of the device which comes equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card with 6GB of GDDR5 graphics memory, both of which feature Max-Q architecture.
The device is equipped with MSI’s Cooler Boost Trinity thermal management solution which implements separate heat emission systems for the CPU and GPU. The laptop also features the Dynaudio sound system with support for up to 24-bit audio file playback with 192kHz bitrate, and is backed by Nahimic 3 audio technology for 360-degree virtual surround sound experience.
The gaming laptop is just 17.9mm thick, weighing in at around 1.88kg, and comes with an 82 Whr battery which is claimed to provide a backup of over 8 hours on a single charge. The device also comes with the updated Dragon Center 2.0 system which now features a dedicated gaming mode. The MSI GS65 Stealth Thin gaming laptop starts at Rs. 1,69,990, and will go on sale from Flipkart, Paytm and authorized retail stores soon.
