Microsoft took the wraps off its iPad competitor Surface Go earlier this year. Now, the company has announced that it’s ready to launch its smallest and most portable Surface device in India.

That’s right, Microsoft’s Surface Go is now available for pre-order in India exclusively with Flipkart for a starting price of Rs. 37,999.

The Surface Go packs a 10-inch screen and an integrated kickstand. Surface Go’s design is similar to Surface Pro, and it runs Windows 10 S out of the box. The smaller 10-inch display has a resolution of 1800×1200 pixels, and the form factor is ideal for users who’re always on the move.

The Surface Go is powered by Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y, which is a two-core, four-thread Kaby Lake chip. You can configure it with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD. The base variant, however, only has 4GB RAM and 64GB eMMC. Microsoft says you’ll get an estimated battery life of 9 hours, but that’s something that remains to be seen.

The highlight of the device, besides it form factor, is the signature built-in kickstand with unlimited positions. You can use it at any angle you like on your table, which is pretty awesome. As for the I/O, there’s a USB-C 3.1 port which is used for charging or outputting video and data to external devices. Also, Microsoft is releasing the Wi-Fi only versions in India.
