- Season 6 will officially end on February 13.
Marvel Rivals Season 6 is all set to introduce 25 new costumes, a new Convoy map, and, of course, the Deadpool hybrid-hero over the course of the new four weeks. Netease’s latest content offering is jam-packed, to say the least, which can make it a bit trickier to keep track of when individual updates are released. With this in mind, we’ve put together a Marvel Rivals Season 6 roadmap, which provides an overview of everything you can look forward to in the coming weeks.
Marvel Rivals Season 6 Roadmap

As revealed by the official Marvel Rivals X account, here’s how the Season 6 release schedule is shaping up:
January 16 – Season 6 Release
- New Hero: Deadpool
- New Event: Whack-A-Jeff
- New Battlepass
- New Costumes:
- ‘Captain Pool’ Deadpool
- Spider-Man and Venom (Marvel Cosmic Invasion Collab)
- New Accessories
- Hero Proficiency Upgrade
The Marvel Rivals Season 6 roadmap kicks off with the release of Deadpool on January 16. The Merc with a Mouth is the game’s first triple-role hero, offering more flexibility and room for chaos than other characters in the game. Of course, the roster update is accompanied by a set of buffs and nerfs that are well-worth checking out.
On the cosmetics front, we’ve got the first skin for our new hero, aptly named ‘Captain Pool.’ The costume bundle sees Wade Wilson receive a seafaring makeover, complemented by all the arrrrghs you’d expect. Aside from this, both Spider-Man and Venom are going 8-bit to commemorate a crossover with Marvel Cosmic Invasion. And of course, there’s a brand-new Battlepass stuffed to the brim with mouth-watering skins.
Speaking of 8-bit, the Whack-A-Jeff event is an arcade-y delight, and by participating, you can earn a free retro costume for Jeff the Land Shark.
Lastly, the January 16 update brings major changes to the Hero Proficiency system. The devs have added new rewards and pages for all characters, including animated Lord Icons that’ll require a bit of grinding to unlock.
January 23 – Disco Night
- Times Square Update: Disco Night
- New Costume: ‘Disco Revolution’ Luna Snow and Thor

Be sure to bring your dancing shoes because the January 23 update is all about disco. To set the mood, Times Square will be draped in discotheque and, presumably, some sort of dance floor. Accompanying the mini-event are two disco-themed skins for Luna Snow and Thor.
January 30 – Museum of Contemplation Release
- New Map: Museum of Contemplation
- Times Square Update: The Clobberin’ Club
- New Event: Flight Mode! World Tour Merch
- New Costumes: ‘Trumps of the Grandmaster’ Emma Frost and Angela

A brand-new convoy map set in the Collector’s Museum will join Marvel Rivals on January 30. The arena carries all sorts of easter eggs for fans of the comics, including a nod to Cosmo the Spacedog. Aside from this, Times Square will welcome a new 1v1 duel arena known as the Clobberin’ Club. At this location, you’ll be able to duel other players and even have your matches get broadcast on the big screen for a few extra Units.
February 2 – New Costumes
- New Costumes:
- ‘Mecha Flora’ Groot
- ‘Quiet Council of Krakoa’ Magneto
The last bit of content on the Marvel Rivals Season 6 roadmap is a couple of new skins for Groot and Magneto. Of course, this doesn’t mark the end of the season as a whole, as starting February 13, players can brace for Season 6.5. The mid-season content release will introduce Elsa Bloodstone to the roster as well as a range of new events.
And that does it for our Marvel Rivals Season 6 roadmap. Are you excited for the season? Let us know in the comments.
Marvel Rivals Season 6 will be released on January 16 at 9 AM UTC.
Season 6 will end on February 13 to make way for the mid-season update.
