Gorr the God Butcher’s arrival made Marvel Season 10 a memorable one, but the same cannot be said for its mid-season update. Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 failed to live up to expectations, leaving players eagerly awaiting the release of Marvel Rivals Season 11. So, if you are also wondering when does the Marvel Rivals Season 11 start, here is everything we know so far about the upcoming season, including its release date, new heroes, and more.
When Is Marvel Rivals Season 11 Coming Out?
You don’t have to wonder when does the Marvel Rivals Season 11 start; the new season is launching on November 13, 2026, as confirmed in the Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 roadmap. Although NetEase Games hasn’t yet revealed the exact timing, the new season will go live at 9 AM UTC (2 AM PT or 5 AM EDT) as usual.
Players cannot dive into the game right away on Season 11 launch day, as there will be at least two hours of downtime. Continuing the tradition, players can look forward to the official reveal of Marvel Rivals Season 11, including new heroes, battle pass, and events, in a new episode of Dev Vision next week, i.e., on November 10.
Marvel Rivals Season 11 New Heroes: Nightcrawler and Doctor Doom
Marvel Rivals Season 10 included only one hero, and didn’t sit well with the majority of the players. Fortunately, GuangGuang, Marvel Rivals’ creative director, confirmed that the dev team will return to the original strategy of releasing two heroes per season in Marvel Rivals Season 11.
As usual, NetEase is only teasing the next hero in the current season’s gallery card ahead of the official reveal in Dev Vision next week. But if you cannot wait to find out, here are the Marvel Rivals Season 11 heroes:
Nightcrawler
Kurt Wagner, better known as Nightcrawler, was supposed to join the Marvel Rivals hero roster in the Season 10.5 update. However, his debut was put on hold as developers shifted attention to the final phase of the Path to Doomsday event in Marvel Rivals. Now, Nightcrawler will make his long-awaited debut in Marvel Rivals Season 11.
Nightcrawler’s famous sword, Hopesword, appeared in the Marvel Season 10 Gallery Card. But Moon Girl was wielding the sword instead. So, Nightcrawler will likely be the first Season 11 hero, a Strategist, according to the latest leaks.
Doctor Doom
Following Nightcrawler, Doctor Doom is heavily speculated to arrive in the Marvel Rivals Season 11.5 update. The Season 11.5 update comes out just days before the release of the Avengers: Doomsday movie, making it the perfect time for NetEase to debut the iconic villain in the game.
Doctor Doom is expected to be a Vanguard in the game because of his gigantic physique and a mysterious set of abilities. In case you didn’t know, the leaked Marvel Rivals character list has included Doctor Doom for a long time now.
Marvel Rivals Season 11 Leaked Skins and Events
NetEase Games has recently started the trend of releasing Art Vision episodes for Marvel Rivals and has begun to tease upcoming skins in the game. Currently, Marvel Rivals Rogue‘s Street Style, Invisible Woman’s Savage Land, and Luna Snow Mirae 2026 skins are on the cards for the next season.
In addition, the Holiday season is right around the corner, so you can look forward to the Winter Holiday 2026 collection skins and Holiday-themed events. Now that the Endgame event is live in the game, NetEase will unveil Doomsday content starting with the next season. So, expect new skins for the powerful Avengers and also new events.
