When Is Marvel Rivals Season 10 Coming Out?

As revealed in the Season 9.5 roadmap, Marvel Rivals Season 10 is scheduled for release on September 11, 2026, at 9:00 AM UTC (2:00 AM PT or 5:00 AM EDT). Since this is a major seasonal update, expect at least two hours of downtime on Season 10 launch day.

Marvel Rivals Season 10 New Heroes: Gorr the God Butcher and Nightcrawler

NetEase Games continues to keep the next set of heroes under wraps, but the leaked Marvel Rivals characters list suggests Gorr the God Butcher and Nightcrawler will be the new heroes of Marvel Rivals Season 10. The mysterious character who killed Apocalypse (in the Marvel Rivals Season 9 trailer) and Khonshu with the All-Black the Necrosword is none other than Gorr the God Butcher.

The recent Marvel Rivals Death of Apocalypse event pretty much confirmed Gorr’s existence in the Marvel Rivals universe. “Not Knull. I’ve heard of another who has wielded the Necrosword: A butcher of gods who has been wreaking havoc in this timeline for many centuries.”

So, the Butcher of Gods is expected to debut first, and Nightcrawler will join next in the mid-season update. There aren’t any leaks about Gorr and Nightcrawler’s abilities in the game yet. However, Gorr is heavily rumored to be a Duelist in the game. The new gallery card’s description describes Gorr as a pale warrior with a sword as black as the eternal void.

With The Hood in Marvel Rivals turning out to be a Vanguard and Gorr speculated to be a Duelist, Nightcrawler will most likely be unveiled as a Strategist in Season 10.5. Expect him to top the meta in the Marvel Rivals tier list upon his arrival.
