Marvel Rivals Avengers Age of Ultron PvE Mode: How to Play, Free Rewards, and More

Following the footsteps of Marvel Zombies and Blood Hunt modes, Avengers Age of Ultron mode is here in Marvel Rivals. It’s a new PvE mode based on the second Avengers movie, Avengers: Age of Ultron.

The Avengers assemble once again to take on the mighty Ultron and his army of Sentries in the new mode. So, here is everything you need to know about Marvel Rivals Avengers Age of Ultron PvE mode, including how to play, rewards, and more.

How to Launch Avengers Age of Ultron Mode in Marvel Rivals

Avengers Age of Ultron PvE mode was added in the final update of Marvel Rivals Season 9. Here is how to launch the new PvE mode in-game:

• Select the Playlist button in the home screen menu.
• Then you can find the new Path to Doomsday: Avengers Age of Ultron PvE mode right next to the Blood Hunt mode in the Rivalry tab.
• Click on the new PvE mode and select either the common or hard difficulty.
• Now, you can queue up for a match of Avengers: Age of Ultron.
• Only the common difficulty mode is available at first. Completing a game on the normal difficulty unlocks the hard mode.

How Long Is Avengers: Age of Ultron Mode in Marvel Rivals?

Avengers: Age of Ultron, the second mode in the ongoing Path to Doomsday event, is also a limited-time mode. The new PvE mode began on July 30, 2026, at 9 AM UTC and will end on August 27, 2026, at 9 AM UTC. Therefore, Avengers: Age of Ultron PvE mode will be available for a total of 4 weeks in Marvel Rivals.

Since NetEase Games extended the Blood Hunt PvE mode recently after listening to community feedback, let’s wait and see if the devs can extend the new Age of Ultron PvE beyond its original end date.

• Super-Soldier Slam (Left Click): Launch enemies up in the air by slamming into the ground with Cap’s shield.
• Living-Legend (Right Click): Use the shield to deflect incoming projectiles.
• Vibranium Energy Saw (E): Throw the Vibranium shield to knock down enemies
• Liberty Rush (F): Rush towards the enemy with the shield.
• Freedom Charge Ultimate Ability (Q): Gain continuous Bonus Health and Movement Boosts while also lending these buffs to allies.

• Mjolnir Bash (Left Click): Strike enemies with the Mjolnir.
• Hammer Throw (Right Click): Hurl the Mjolnir at an enemy, and the hammer also automatically returns to Thor.
• Storm Surge (L Shift): Charge the Mjolnir by continuously spinning it and dash forward to knock back enemies.
• Lightning Realm (E): Restore Thorforce by summoning the lightning realm.
• Awakening Rune (F): Enter an awakened state and use Thorforce to unleash Mjolnir Bash’s full power.
• God of Thunder Ultimate Ability (Q): Fly into the air and then strike the ground after charging up Mjolnir.

Unlike the Blood Hunt mode, there is only a single boss in the Avengers: Age of Ultron mode, Ultron. However, you need to face him twice in the new PvE mode (mid-stage and finale). Apart from Ultron, you will face a variety of Sentry bots during each wave in Avengers: Age of Ultron PvE mode.
