Carmen sincerely believes that Sydney is the successor who can take The Bear to great heights. And he is not going to quit right away in the series. Instead, Carmy has vowed to stay until the debts are paid and the restaurant achieves financial stability to continue delivering the best food in Chicago. Therefore, we believe that Carmen will don the chef’s coat to step into his role in The Bear for one last time in season 5.
Will Jeremy Allen White Leave The Bear TV Show?
If you have already watched the latest fourth season, then you might also feel that The Bear has reached the endgame. Initially, Christopher Storer, the creator, planned for only three seasons, but was expanded due to the show’s worldwide popularity. Based on the events that transpired in season 4, all signs point to The Bear ending with season 5.
Coming back to Carmy, he has reconciled with his girlfriend Claire Bear and is slowly learning to forgive his mother. All that’s left for him is to set up his restaurant by getting a Michelin star and passing the baton to Sydney. Then, he can discover his purpose and work on his mental health struggles to lead a peaceful life.
Jeremy Allen White got the breakthrough in his career with Shameless and rose to prominence with his main role in The Bear. He has already collected three Golden Globes and two Emmys for Carmen Berzatto’s role. Now, the actor is booked for a growing slate of movies, namely Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere, The Painted Bride, Enemies, and The Mandalorian and Grogu.
Thus, Jeremy Allen White is a very busy star in Hollywood right now. Neither the star nor the production staff has commented about Carmen’s future in The Bear series so far.
