Honkai Star Rail King Pom-Pom Boss Fight Mechanics Explained
The King Pom-Pom boss is quite complicated due to the various mechanics involved in the fight. First, the enemy will enter a state where it will deal more damage, while causing significantly less damage. The boss will enter this phase when it has two Lasting Antibac stacks. During this state, dealing damage to it is basically useless. The only way to remove this Lastic Antibac stack is by collecting Punchline, the Elation mechanic in HSR.
With every punchline stack obtained, your Ally Pommy will gain a charge. On two charges, it can use a basic attack on King Pom Pom that can decrease one stack of its Lasting Antibac.
Other than that, the boss can summon more Pommy and use them to attack your party. Now, King Pom-Pom will give one punchline stack after using the Zero-Blind-Spot Cleanse, Potent Foam Soap, and Saturation Cleaning! attacks.
