Early access to Gears of War E-Day Open Beta begins soon on Xbox consoles and PC, with tons of exclusive rewards to obtain. If you’ve pre-ordered Gears of War E-Day or are subscribed to Game Pass Ultimate/PC Game Pass, you’ll be able to join the early access. However, if you’re in for the free stuff, here’s how to get all Gears of War E-Day Open Beta rewards.

All Gears of War E-Day Open Beta Rewards and How to Get Them

To get the Gears of War E-Day Open Beta rewards, you need to participate in the early access beta and the public beta, complete multiple challenges, and level up in the two multiplayer modes in Gears.

Gears of War E-Day Open Beta early access will run from August 6 to August 10, 2026. Players who haven’t pre-ordered the game or do not have an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription can join the public open beta from August 13 to August 17, 2026, and earn these rewards.

There are 6 exclusive rewards you can unlock for free, and these are mostly cosmetic items which you’ll be able to use in-game. That said, here’s a complete list of all Gears of War E-Day Open Beta exclusive rewards and how to unlock them:

Crush the Bug Icon	Perform 5 Prototype Lancer Chainsaw Executions
Crush the Bug Emblem	Perform 10 Revives
Crush the Bug Banner	Get 25 Headshots
Rare Crush the Bug Weapon Skin Set	Extract from Horde Siege 8 Times on Infantry difficulty or higher
Epic Blast Damage Mags Character Skin	Hit Player Level 20

According to The Coalition, once you unlock all open beta rewards, you can use them when Gears of War E-Day launches on October 6, 2026. However, your Class Progression, Player Level, and other Medal Progress won’t carry over to launch and will reset.

Fortunately, they will carry over to the second Gears of War E-Day Open Beta weekend, starting August 13. Plus, you can use all the previously unlocked beta rewards during the second weekend.
