If you’ve pre-ordered Gears of War E-Day or are subscribed to Game Pass Ultimate/PC Game Pass, you’ll be able to join the early access. All Gears of War E-Day Open Beta Rewards and How to Get Them
To get the Gears of War E-Day Open Beta rewards, you need to participate in the early access beta and the public beta, complete multiple challenges, and level up in the two multiplayer modes in Gears.
Gears of War E-Day Open Beta early access will run from August 6 to August 10, 2026. Players who haven’t pre-ordered the game or do not have an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription can join the public open beta from August 13 to August 17, 2026, and earn these rewards.

There are 6 exclusive rewards you can unlock for free, and these are mostly cosmetic items which you’ll be able to use in-game. That said, here’s a complete list of all Gears of War E-Day Open Beta exclusive rewards and how to unlock them:

According to The Coalition, once you unlock all open beta rewards, you can use them when Gears of War E-Day launches on October 6, 2026. However, your Class Progression, Player Level, and other Medal Progress won’t carry over to launch and will reset.
Fortunately, they will carry over to the second Gears of War E-Day Open Beta weekend, starting August 13. Plus, you can use all the previously unlocked beta rewards during the second weekend.
