- Contact Snapchat support if you have been logged out of your Snapchat account and cannot log back in.

Check Whether Your Snapchat Account is Hacked

- You have been logged out of your account and are unable to log back in.
- Getting logged out of your account frequently.
- Your email address or registered phone number has changed.
- Unknown people in your friends list that you don’t recall adding.
- You find out that a payment has been made to get Snapchat+ even though you didn’t initiate it.
- Changes to your avatar or missing chats, and conversations.
- Your friends are receiving Snaps and messages that you didn’t send them.
- You receive an email or a notification that your Snapchat account was active from a different location.
Recover Your Hacked Snapchat Account

Method 1: Contact Snapchat Support Team
Starting with the worst-case scenario, let’s say you don’t have access to your account anymore. The hackers have changed your email and phone number, leaving you no possible way to log into your account. In this case, the best option is to contact Snapchat’s support team.
- Head over to Snapchat Support page using this link.
- Select I think my account was compromised from the “Submit a request” page.
- Now fill out the form below with the required details and click on Submit.
The support team should help you recover your account and secure it, so such incidents don’t take place in the future.
Method 2: Change Your Snapchat Login Password
If in case you are still able to log into your account but suspect someone keeps logging you out, then you can give them a taste of their own medicine. How? By changing your account password and locking them out. Here is how you can do it.
- On the Log In page, tap on Forgot your password?.
- Now pick between Via Phone or Via Email.
- Enter the email or phone number associated with your account, then hit Submit.
- On the next page, enter the six-digit code or use the link received in your email.
- Now create a new password for your account and tap on Save.
Method 3: Remove Other Signed In Devices
Using the above method, you have logged into your account or have access to it. Then the next step is to kick out the hacker. You can do so from Session Manager on Snapchat. You can manage all devices signed in with the same account. Let’s look at how to remove the hacker using this method.
- On Snapchat, tap on your avatar icon at the top left.
- Then tap on the gear icon at the top right to open Snapchat Settings.
- Here, scroll down and select Session management.
- Press the x icon on every other device logged into your account.
- Select OK in the confirmation prompt.
- Next, go back to the Settings screen, and tap on Saved Login info.
- Tap on the minus – icon next to the unknown device.
- Choose Yes on the confirmation prompt.
Once signed out, the hacker won’t be able to log back in. That is, if you have changed the password using the method above. For additional security, set up two-factor authentication, and get a recovery code for your account.
