How to Find Dammon in Baldur’s Gate 3 (All Locations)

Dammon is one of the Tieflings in Baldur’s Gate 3 that becomes an important part of your journey. Not only that but to progress through Karlach’s companion quest and to eventually romance her (work-in-progress, more details coming soon), you will need to visit Dammon and require his assistance. However, outside of one conversation with your party members, the game never explicitly says where to track him down. So, in this article, we will tell you the location of Dammon in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Who is Dammon in Baldur’s Gate 3?

Dammon is an Asmodeus Tiefling you encounter at the Druid Grove in Act 1 of Baldur’s Gate 3. A refugee with the other Tieflings in Druid Grove, Dammon is also an Infernal Mechanic, a person that can repair and create items found or associated with the Hells. If you have Karlach in your companion list, Dammon becomes an important NPC to progress her storyline. If you don’t request Karlach to be on your team, he will simply become a mechanic that you can visit to craft new heavy armor. At such a time, he will create armor for you using the Infernal Iron.

Dammon’s Location in Baldur’s Gate 3 Act 1

Once you find infernal iron in Baldur’s Gate 3, follow the steps below to find Dammon in the game. However, there are a few conditions that you need to meet before you can find Dammon. His existence depends on your decision during the “Rescue Halsin” questline. If you align with the Goblins to eliminate the Grove, many players have reported that Dammon dies in Baldur’s Gate 3.

If you finish the Rescue Halsin quest, ensure you talk with Dammon before heading back to your camp. Otherwise, he leaves. Unless you are sure that you want to do the Karlach Hellion’s Heart quest (and if you’re reading this, you want to), keep those two points in mind. In Act 1, you then need to follow the route below:

• Open up your map and fast-travel to Emerald Grove Environs. This is the closest fast-travel point to Druid Grove.

• Then, head to Druid Grove and move to the following location. He will be here, fixing and mending weapons in his smithy (X:182, Y:555).

And that is where you will find Dammon in Act 1 of Baldur’s Gate 3. Before he leaves the Grove for a new location, he will give Karlach’s Infernal Engine a quick tune-up. Also, Dammon instructs her and her Baldur’s Gate 3 party to find them in the city. By then, he should have a solution to fix her heart.
