How to Play as Godzilla in Fortnite
During the Fortnite battle royale matches, a special portal will randomly appear on the map. If you’re lucky enough to find it, you’ll want to act fast. To become Godzilla, the player must jump through it. Do note that only one player can become Godzilla in a match. This means positioning and quick decision-making are crucial if you want to become the legendary monster.
Once the portal has closed, the player will return as the kaiju and others must work together to defeat the legendary Godzilla.
All Godzilla Abilities in Fortnite
Besides the massive size, you’ll also have other tools at your disposal. As Godzilla, you’ll have access to three devastating abilities that can help you dominate the battlefield:
- Roar: Use your Roar to reveal nearby opponents, giving you a tactical advantage in tracking down potential threats. Think of it as a built-in enemy detection system that helps you plan your attacks.
- Stomp Attack: This handy attack will be your close-range crowd control ability. It sends players flying and can quickly clear areas around you. It’s particularly effective in dense urban areas where players might try to build around you.

When you successfully land hits, you can collect Godzilla Fragments that drop from the monster.
The player who deals the most damage to Godzilla receives two powerful rewards: the Godzilla Medallion, which grants a recharging dash ability, and the exotic Burst Quad Launcher.
