Genshin Impact’s recent Varka reveal was amazing, but it caught the community’s eyes for more than one reason. Who is Lohen in Genshin Impact?
Lohen is the vice captain of the fifth company of the Knights of the Favonius, which is a company specializing in ranged weaponry. Interestingly, Varka had mentioned that Lohen is tougher than him, which might mean in personality instead of actual strength. Lohen does look the serious type, and working under Varka is more of a free spirit, which might have forced him to take command.
Now, Lohen was part of the expedition team that went to Nod-Krai. However, after Reri’s situation had been taken care of, he went back to Mondstadt, alongside some of the Fifth Company.
When Will Lohen Become Playable in Genshin?
Lohen is expected to become playable in Genshin Impact Luna VI. He will be first introduced in the Genshin Impact Luna V update, and it is expected that Hoyoverse will then release his drip marketing for Luna VI. However, all of these are speculations based on leaks. But our Nod-Krai characters roadmap had been mostly correct thus far, so we expect it to continue being correct for the upcoming characters as well, which also includes Lohen.
If the current 42-day schedule continues, and Lohen is confirmed for Luna VI, then Lohen will be released on April 7, 2026. Overall, we expect Lohen to become playable in the Luna versions themselves, so make sure to save your primogems for him. Genshin Lohen Kit, Element, Rarity, and Weapon
Currently, there is no concrete information for Lohen’s kit in Genshin Impact. Neither leaks nor official information has revealed much about him. However, the recent trailer did reveal Lohen as a Cryo vision user. Unfortunately, Hoyoverse has been known to change visions on a character’s release, even after showing them with a different vision in trailers. This has already happened with both Chasca and Citlali, and can also happen with Lohen.
Other than that, we can make a few guesses about Lohen’s rarity, weapon, and kit. First, I am one-hundred percent sure that Lohen will be a 5-star character. His model looks too polished to be anything other than a 5-star rarity model. Next, as he was shown using a Polearm in the recent trailer, it might confirm that Lohen is a Polearm user. Finally, as Lohen is expected to be released right after Varka and is from Mondstadt, he will likely be a Hexerei character who would be a direct support for Varka.
