Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 is nearly here, and with it, we have some amazing leaks. With Jonesy still recovering, the current season has been relatively calm. However, with Geno plotting his next move, prepare for trouble in the coming days.

There’s a lot of info still coming out about the next phase of the storyline; however, we have a good idea of what to expect. That said, here is everything coming to Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 that we know so far from leaks and teasers.

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Start and End Date

If you’re wondering when the upcoming Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 kicks off and concludes, we’ve got its start and end date below:

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Theme and Trailers

The official name of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 is “OVERRIDE”. This aligns with Mark Rein’s teaser word, which is “Hackers,” and coincides with the theme of Gaming Legends. The name was revealed by Epic Games via an official announcement on August 5, 2026, alongside a tagline: Break the rules. Change the game.

While the current season focused a lot on Fortnite Sprites, this one will focus on video games. We will see crossovers with Sonic the Hedgehog, 99 Nights In The Forest, Tetris, Pac-Man, and many more. We will get more info after the upcoming Unstable Story Moment kicks off.

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Override Battle Pass Leaks

The next Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Battle Pass is rumoured to be called the Override Pass. It will consist of characters related to the Gaming Legends theme. Original skins will also be present.

Although we do not know who to expect, we have some codenames that are yet to be deciphered. Here is the full Override Pass skins list:

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 ‘Hacking’ Mechanic Leak

As per Mark Rein’s words and the Fortnite Discord Bot, we could see a hacking mechanic coming to Chapter 7 Season 4.

In-game, players may need to hack terminals to unlock weapons/items or to complete some Fortnite weekly quests.

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Map and POI Leaks

As of now, we know of two major Fortnite POIs that will be added/changed in Override. The first is the Sonic Green Hills Zone POI, which will be introduced as part of the Fortnite Sonic crossover. It will feature a vertical loop, which can be traversed to collect Gold Rings.

The second major change will occur at Sunken Shores POI. In the latest Fortnite Tetris crossover teaser, we can see that the POI has been littered with Tetris Tetrimino Blocks. They have rifted onto the island and crash-landed into structures.

Keeping these two major POIs aside, a new Temple area has been spotted as well. There are no Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 leaks regarding it, but that could change soon. We speculate that this new area could be related to the rumoured Fortnite Crash Bandicoot crossover.

Other map changes include Ghost from Pac-Man and Doctor Eggman-shaped clouds. This could suggest that we will be getting cosmetics related to the characters. If not, they will only be present as environmental decorations.

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Gameplay Leaks

Although there are no leaks on this front (yet), we do have official gameplay footage. Epic Games has shown us a new POI, one that has been modified, and Peely about to be attacked by a deer. Two new items have also been revealed: Sonic Spin Dash Mythic and Tetriminos Junk Rift Item.

This all but confirms that next season will embrace the Gaming Legends theme to a large extent. We may even see Gaming Legends-themed Sprites since they will be staying in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4.

List of Fortnite Collabs Coming in Chapter 7 Season 4

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 will introduce a plethora of gaming collabs. Some of these will be tied to the Battle Pass, while others will be listed in the Fortnite Item Shop. These collabs include the following skins/characters:

New Fortnite Sprites and Sprite Garden

A new UEFN experience called Fortnite Sprite Garden is being introduced. It will serve as a digital repository for all the Sprites players have captured, and they will be able to visit them in their free time.

Players will also be able to visit each other’s Sprite Garden and vice versa. Keep in mind that it will be a UEFN experience and has no relationship to the Battle Royale mode. Combat is not likely to be featured here.

Epic Games has also officially revealed five new Sprites for Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4. These are Sprites that were selected as winners from the Design-A-Sprite contest. They will be introduced mid-season.

Imagined Order Returns to Fortnite Lore

One of the many teasers sent out by the Fortnite Discord Bot was “PerfectOrder.” Based on current events, it is near certain that the Imagined Order is coming back in full force. This stems from the fact that Geno has been masquerading as The Visitor all this time, as seen in the Fortnite Shattered live event.

To add to this, the Sonic teaser begins with the Imagined Order’s logo. That’s not a mere coincidence. The IO are once more going to take over the island using any means necessary. This means that, moving ahead, in Chapter 8, that is, the IO will be a part of the storyline.

Of course, this all depends on what happens during the Fortnite Unstable Story Moment on August 15, 2026. A lot can change on the given day, and based on what happens, a better idea of what to expect can be formed.
