Sprites are back in Fortnite Treasure Hunters Mini Season, which means you can master them to earn rewards. Much like in Override, completing tasks associated with Sprite Mastery unlocks rewards, and this time around the Mastery Strongbox is up for grabs. How to Unlock Free Sprite Mastery Strongbox in Fortnite
You need to master seven new Fortnite Treasure Hunter Sprites to unlock the Sprite Mastery Strongbox (Back Bling) in the Mini Season. It is a reward that’s part of the Sprite Mastery System in Fortnite. Unlike other rewards associated with the Fortnite Treasure Hunters Battle Pass, this can be obtained by anyone.
Once you get the Sprite Mastery Strongbox, you use it to display Sprites you’ve caught in Fortnite Treasure Hunters. Keep in mind that you cannot showcase older Fortnite Override Sprites from Chapter 7 Season 4. You have until December 5, 2026, to unlock the Mastery Strongbox in Fortnite Treasure Hunters.
How to Level Up Sprites Quickly in Fortnite Treasure Hunters
You level up your Sprites quickly and quite easily by doing a few things on repeat in every Fortnite Treasure Hunters match. They don’t necessarily involve combat and can be done solo or in squads, but the latter is better, as your odds of finding the Fortnite Pirate Shop Token are higher. Here’s what you need to know:
- Open and/or destroy containers: Chests, barrels, produce boxes, and ammo containers give 75 Sprite XP when searched or destroyed.
- Eliminate opponents and get a Victory Royale: Each elimination grants you a large chunk of Sprite XP, while getting a Victory Royale gives you more.
- Extract Sprites: You also get a large amount of Sprite XP when extracting Sprites. This also gives you a lot of Sprite Dust in Fortnite, which is used to purchase items/services.
If you do all of the above in a coordinated manner, you can earn enough XP to master a Sprite in every match. That said, there’s no rush, as you have plenty of time before Treasure Hunters ends with an end-of-season Fortnite live event.
