Become a Hero by Ranking up in Fortnite Super Season

Want to be a Fortnite hero? Then suit up and start proving it—glory doesn’t come easy in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Super. The new Hero Rank system turns every match into your personal origin story, where the more “heroic deeds” you perform, the higher you climb in rank. Everyone begins a match at Rank C, and you can level up to B, A, S, and ultimately S+, the peak of hero status. Here’s the best part—your entire squad shares the same Hero Rank, so working together makes all of you stronger.

How to Increase Hero Rank

You gain progress by completing heroic actions like:

  • Eliminating enemy players
  • Surviving Storm phases
  • Escorting Sprites to Shrines
  • Defeating henchmen and bosses

The more good you do, the stronger you become. And when you rank up, it’s not just a title—it comes with real in-game upgrades. And speaking of upgrades, you get Hero Cache.

Hero Cache and Rewards

New Hero Mythics in Fortnite Super

The students of Supernova Academy aren’t just stylish—they’re supercharged. Each notable hero comes with signature gear known as Hero Items, and the best part? You don’t need to wear their Outfit to use them. These powerful tools can be found in Hero Caches, Academy Tech Labs, or across the Island.

Take Morgan Myst, for example. Her Myst Gauntlets unleash a cone of shadow energy that deals heavy damage in front of you. But that’s just the beginning—check out the rest of the Hero arsenal from Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Super below:

  • Killswitch Revolvers: Dual pistols that allow for some serious action-movie shenanigans. Dodge to evade incoming fire and activate Hangtime in the air to fire back with better accuracy.
  • Tracking Visor: A high-tech visor that allows for scanning the battlefield, pinging nearby foes, and showing enemy footprints.
  • Bass Boost: Creates a wave of sound that destroys structures, damages opponents, and bounces back at anyone it comes in contact with. Its secondary fire launches you into the air!
  • Surf Cube (coming later this Season): A Cube-matter surf board that’ll get you where you’re going in a jiff.
  • Storm Beast’s Pom Poms (coming later this Season): Transforms you into a rampaging Storm Beast with high-damage attacks and a leaping, highly-disruptive Storm Slam ability.
    • Myst Form (coming later this Season) Briefly transforms you into an invulnerable flock of shadowy ravens that can maneuver a short distance.

Tech Lab & Extra Arsenal: Expand Your Super Toolkit

Whether you’re chasing Hero Items or gearing up with experimental firepower, Supernova Academy’s Tech Labs have all the tools you need to take on Daigo and his corrupted crew. Explore labs unlocked by your Hero Rank in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Super. You can purchase the gear with Bars, and keep an eye out for more labs popping up across the Island as the Season progresses.

Hero Labs & Krypto’s Cosmic Chaos

Inside the Academy Tech Lab, doors open based on your current Hero Rank, giving you access to powerful Hero Items and even secret goods for purchase. If you’re hunting for signature gear like the Myst Gauntlets or Tracking Visor, this is your go-to spot.

But that’s not all — toss a Krypto Treat to summon Superman’s super dog from the skies! Krypto drops in with an explosive strike, dealing serious area damage to unlucky enemies near the impact.

Extra Equipment & Unstable Exotics

From grapples to god-tier gadgets, here’s what else is new in Fortnite Chapter 6 Super Season:

  • Robin’s Grapnel Gun: A trusty gadget with extended range, perfect for quick escapes or dramatic hero entrances.
  • Spire Rifle: A new LMG with a large magazine and bonus structure damage. Ideal for players who prefer suppressive firepower.
  • Hyperburst Pistol: Fires tight three-round bursts, making it deadly at close to mid-range.
  • Deadeye DMR: A high-precision marksman rifle capable of cracking shields from afar.

And if that wasn’t spicy enough, the Unstable Exotics push the limits of logic:

  • Unstable Yoink Shotgun: The First shot from a full clip pulls enemies toward you.
  • Unstable Voltage Burst Pistol: First and last bullets trigger a shockwave at impact.
  • Unstable Frostfire Shotgun: Applies either a speed boost (Pepper effect) or slows your target, depending on its mood, apparently.

These experimental weapons can only be found in Rank S Hero Caches or Tech Labs, so climb the ranks and earn that edge.

Power Up with New Fortnite Boons and Sprites

When it comes to saving the Island, raw firepower isn’t always enough. Boons and Sprites offer unique buffs and battlefield utility that scale with your Fortnite Super Hero Rank. Whether you’re tanking storm damage or reloading mid-parkour, there’s a Boon (and Sprite) out there to give you that heroic edge.

Fortnite Super Boons

Boons are found in Chests or purchased from Academy Tech Labs, and this time around, they level up as your Hero Rank rises. Reach Rank S, and many Boons unlock full-powered bonuses!

  • Storm Caller Boon: Gain Shield while in the Storm, scaling with Hero Rank. At Rank S, get a built-in Storm Forecast too.
  • Speed Healer Boon: Heal on the run! Sprint while using items and gain a Slap effect after. At Rank S, you get instant Slap with every heal.
  • Combat Acrobat Boon: Parkour reloads your equipped weapon, with more ammo reloaded per Hero Rank. At Rank S, it reloads all your weapons.
  • Heightened Senses Boon: Enemies that hit you get auto-marked, with longer durations at higher ranks. Shorter cooldown at Rank S.

Strategically picking Boons to suit your playstyle can flip the outcome of a fight, especially in the closing circles.

Sprites: Mythical Fortnite Sidekicks

Returning to the Island with a new twist, Sprites are back — and now they’re even more heroic.

  • Dash Sprite: Replacing the Water Sprite, this little guy creates a zone that refills Dash charges over time. Perfect for fast-paced rotations or making quick escapes.
  • Superman Sprite: Swapping in for the Air Sprite, it unleashes a massive laser beam, devastating anything in its path. Buildings? Gone. Confidence? Shattered.

Watch the skies and the terrain, these Sprites can turn the tide of battle when used smartly.

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Super Bosses

Daigo the Mask Maker has returned, corrupted by dark magic and draining the Island’s energy through ominous Spires. You’ll find him at Demon’s Domain, and you’ll want top-tier loot before taking him on. Defeat Daigo to earn the Mythic Enhanced Spire Rifle and Infernal Defenses Medallion, which boosts reload speed and regenerates Shield over time — but beware, Medallions make you visible on enemy mini-maps, and the more you carry, the easier you are to track.

Daigo’s second-in-command, Kor, now holds down the former domain of Shogun X. She’s agile and deadly with her Mythic Deadeye DMR, keeping distance to land devastating shots. Beat her to get that DMR and the Shrouded Striker Medallion, which grants temporary invisibility when you sprint jump, launching you farther, faster, and higher than ever.
