Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Galactic Battle introduces big changes to the current map. While Season 2 centered around Crime City and its wave of criminal activity, the latest Star Wars update brings iconic landmarks from the galaxy far, far away. Here’s a look at the four major new locations added in the Fortnite Galactic Battle update:

Only four new locations as a change in such a big collaboration update might feel a little underwhelming. If you notice carefully, most of the named locations and landmarks from the Chapter 6 Season 2 map are still present. That’s mainly because this update is part of a seasonal refresh. However, that doesn’t take away from the huge amount of new content added to these specific areas. Some rumors suggested that a mid-season change will also occur in the map, creating more POIs and landmarks.
Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 POI Locations and Landmarks
The first thing in the latest update you will notice is the iconic Star Wars landmarks. When the update drops, there will be four of them. And of course, the new POIs will switch places with some of the old locations. The locations that are being removed from the Fortnite Chapter 6 map are: Demon’s Dojo, Hopeful Heights, Shogun’s Solitude, and Whiffy Wharf.
In the new map, you will find one Star Wars location in every corner. In the northeastern region, you will find the First Order Base. It will replace the Demon’s Dojo, meaning that there must be some valuable loot. This also means that you must prepare when hot-dropping at this location.
On the western part of the map, on top, is the Resistance Base. It features classic Rebel-style architecture and serves as a key spot for loot, battles, and Star Wars-themed quests. The POI features two towers that are connected through ziplines and ascenders. Perfect spot for a lot of chaos.
Replacing the Shogun’s Solitude is now Vader Samurai’s Solitude. I know, you must be thinking the same, same but different. Well, it is, sort of. This location will possibly see the return of the iconic villain Vader in Fortnite. Last Chapter 6 Season 3 Fortnite map change comes in the form of Outpost Enclave. This will be located in the southeastern part of the map. The POI features a lot of small quarters and an ample amount of loot.
