Daredevil Born Again Cast: All Reappearing and New Characters

2025 is a good year for superhero fans with all the amazing movies and shows that are lined up for release. One of these is Daredevil Born Again which marks the return of Matt Murdock as the Man Without Fear. The popular TV show by Marvel is known for impeccable performance by its stellar cast, many of whom are returning in season 3. And, there are some new additions as well to the cast of Daredevil Born Again. So, let’s take a look at the cast and characters of Daredevil Born Again.

1. Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil

The man, the myth, the legend, Charlie Cox, a British actor, took up the role of The Man Without Fear in 2015 with Netflix’s Daredevil and proved to the world that he was born to play the character. Since his appearance, it’s impossible to picture someone else as Daredevil and I am certain that everyone at Marvel Studios is fully aware of this. Following this, he also reprised his character in 2017’s “The Defenders“.

Fitting in the character as hand in glove in the two shows, Charlie Cox also appeared as Daredevil in She-Hulk Attorney at Law, Marvel’s Echo, and more recently in Marvel’s animated show Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. Daredevil Born Again will be a direct continuation of the events we saw in Daredevil (2015) but way more action-packed and violent. This detail was confirmed when Charlie Cox in an interview stated that he was surprised that Disney did not tone down the violence in the upcoming show.

2. Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin

If there was a meter for comic accuracy, Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin would max it out. Since his first appearance in 2015’s Daredevil, he has turned himself into an example of how to bring a character to life. Just when people thought that this character’s chapter was closed, his appearance in the Hawkeye series, confirmed that he is now a part of the broader MCU. He then returned to the Echo solo series where his story and character were explored in further detail. The series also solidified his character arc confirming that Wilson Fisk will be running for the Mayor of New York City.

Based on the trailer of Daredevil Born Again, it’s safe to say that he not only ran for Mayor but also won, and even though he presented himself to have left the life of crime behind him, we all know that it isn’t true. So, let’s wait and see what happens.

3. Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher

Jon Bernthal has been in the acting business for quite some time. However, his breakout role came in the form of AMC’s The Walking Dead where he appeared as Shane. Since then he has become a household name and has appeared in multiple movies and shows. Even though Bernthal was popular, he rose to the pinnacle of his fame when he took up the role of Frank Castle aka The Punisher. He appeared as the character for two seasons after which the series did not move further.

Fans have been bugging Marvel Studios to bring back Jon Bernthal as The Punisher and now, he is coming back to Daredevil Born Again’s cast. According to the photo leaks that surfaced during the filming of the series, this time around, his suit will be a bit different and rather upgraded, and I for one, am pretty excited to see Frank Castle’s return.

4. Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk

Ayelet Zurer made her first appearance as Vanessa Fisk in Daredevil (2015) who dated Wilson Fisk for a while and later on became his wife. However, in 2023, it was revealed that Zurer will not return for Daredevil Born Again, and instead, Sandrine Holt will take up the role. This recasting news did not last long and in 2024, it was confirmed that Ayelet Zurer would be the one to appear as Venessa Fisk in Daredevil Born Again.

5. Elden Henson As Foggy Nelson

One of the biggest surprises for Daredevil Born Again was the reappearance of Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson. Initially, it was reported that Foggy Nelson would not be a part of Daredevil Born Again. However, his return was confirmed after set photos revealed him to be a part of the show. Scooper MyTimeToShineHello has confirmed that Elden Henson will be a part of the Daredevil Born Again cast and will also appear in season 2, which has also been renewed.

6. Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page

Same as Nelson, the involvement of Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page was a huge surprise for patrons since just like Foggy, it was speculated that her character also passed away in the last season. However, in November, Deborah Ann Woll confirmed on her Instagram account that she will return to Hell’s Kitchen with Daredevil Born Again.

7. Wilson Bethel as Benjamin Poindexter/Bullseye

One of the complaints fans had from Daredevil (2015) was that they never got to see Bullseye in his peak form. By the end of Daredevil Season 3, we see Benjamin Poindexter get spinal surgery and following it, we see the iconic bullseye pattern in his eye but we never really get to see his actual arc as Bullseye.

Now, Wilson Bethel is returning as Benjamin Poindexter in Daredevil Born Again’s cast, and since he is on his feet after being paralyzed in Daredevil Season 3, we can expect to see the legendary rivalry between Bullseye and Daredevil go down on our screens. According to reports, Bullseye will appear on screen only for three episodes but as far as I feel, that would be enough to give fans what they have been waiting for so long.

8. Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn

Now, we all know that this series is going to be equally, or even much darker than the original series. However, with the introduction of Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn in Daredevil Born Again’s cast, I certainly hope that it does not turn as dark as Heather’s comic storyline is. In short, Heather Glenn was the romantic interest of Matt but their relationship was extremely toxic, and Matt was the the toxic one. Their fallout was so huge that it drove Heather to kill herself and if the upcoming series brings this element on screen, it might tarnish the image Daredevil has built for himself among fans quite seriously.

9. Michael Gandolfini as Muse

A new villain will be introduced in the Daredevil Born Again with the introduction of Muse being played by Michael Gandolfini. We did not get to see a lot of him in the trailer itself but if Muse is brought to life with comic accuracy, he is going to give Daredevil and The Punisher a run for their money.

In Marvel Comics, Muse has the power to avoid detection, he can become invisible while being in plain sight, and on top of that, he boasts superhuman reflexes as well as superhuman strength.

Not only that, but his reflexes are so accurate that he can dodge or catch fast-moving projectiles, so we can say with certainty that it would be fun to watch him on screen.

10. Kamar de los Reyes as The White Tiger

The appearance of the White Tiger is also one of the most anticipated in Daredevil Born Again. However, since the actor who filmed the scenes of the Marvel hero, Kamar de los Reyes, has tragically passed away, this would be the last time he would grace the audience with his presence. If we look at Marvel Comics, The White Tiger is basically Daredevil who can see and has super strength. He is a master of martial arts with insane reflexes and inhuman agility. So, Daredevil and Punisher should be glad he is on their side.
