Chris Evans Appears in Deadpool 3 but Not as You’d Expect

Deadpool 3 literally paid tribute to every iconic superhero in Marvel, including Iron Man and Thor. The film also featured the most hilarious team-up. Yes, we are talking about the foul-mouthed Merc and the hot-headed Wolverine. Besides them, we were also surprised to see some major cameos that we didn’t see coming. One such cameo was of Chris Evans, but unfortunately, Shawn Levy brought the superhero in the most twisted way, and despite coming as a shock, it definitely didn’t disappoint the fandom. So, how does Chris Evans appear in Deadpool 3?

Spoiler Warning: This post contains heavy spoilers for Deadpool & Wolverine.

Deadpool and Wolverine start fighting after arriving at the void, but suddenly, they are interrupted by a mysterious hooded person. When the person initially shows his face, every fan and Deadpool himself gets intrigued as he seems to be Captain America. However, when Cassandra Nova and Pyro arrive, Chris Evans introduces himself as the Fantastic Four’s Human Torch aka Johnny Storm.

We know that the actor was recognized for portraying Captain America in the MCU. Still, as Human Torch was his first superhero role, it makes sense why he appeared as the Fantastic Four character.

However, we see Chris Evans also as Captain America briefly in Deadpool 3 when Deadpool arrives at TVA (rather forcefully) at the beginning of the movie when Mr. Paradox shows clips from Avenger movies.

Chris Evans made fans happy by appearing in the film, no matter what role he played, but the sad part is that he disappeared from our screens within minutes. Pyro injures him in mid-air after absorbing his flame, and when the Human Torch stands beside Cassandra, Deadpool lies about him to the villain. We then see him lying dead in no time.

Does Human Torch Really Say Those Things About Cassandra Nova

While Wolverine blamed Deadpool for getting Human Torch killed by the villain, Cassandra Nova, we also believed that Wade threw Johnny Storm under the bus, and it was all a lie.

Well, turns out Deadpool wasn’t lying all about that. In the Deadpool 3 post-credits scene, we actually see Deadpool proving his innocence to TVA. Deadpool shows us that instance by rolling the tape, and guess what? Human Torch actually says all that stuff about Cassandra.

Of course, Deadpool was wrong for revealing that unending foul stuff in front of the villain, but that wasn’t made up, and Human Torch actually said those things about her.
