Mega Altaria EX Deck Strategy
Mega Altaria EX follows a simple strategy: filling up your Bench Pokemon slots, and Mega Altaria EX being your active Pokemon.
The deck consists of 10 Pokemon cards, and you need to draw as many Pokemon cards as possible. During the first turn, your priority should be getting an Eevee. Eevee’s Boosted Evolution Ability allows it to evolve into a Sylveon in Turn one. You can draw cards with Sylveon EX’s ability, Happy Ribbon. Professor’s Research, May, and Poke Ball are also useful for card drawing.
Try to set up your Mega Altaria EX on the bench and then swap it into the active spot. You can do the same by giving your Swablu one Psychic energy, swapping it into the active spot next turn, evolving it, and giving another energy.
You can use Indeedee EX for healing, alongside Pokemon Center Lady and Giant Cape, to heal your Mega Altaria EX and keep it healthy. Make sure to use non-EX Altaria against Pom-Pom Oricorio, as it prevents damage from EX cards.
Mega Altaria EX can deal a lot of damage per turn, a maximum of 130. However, be careful about Pom-Pom Oricorio and Steel-type decks, like Solgaleo EX and Melmetal EX decks.
That said, if you don’t have Mega Altaria, feel free to try out Mega Gyarados EX and Mega Blaziken EX decks. Comment down below if you have any deck suggestions.
