Battlefield 6, the next entry in the beloved franchise, is en route, and as always, the reveal trailer has sparked plenty of excitement surrounding its release. The upcoming title aims to correct its predecessor’s shortcomings by offering a Battlefield experience rooted in the game’s signature mechanics. Players can look forward to intense boots-on-the-ground action supplemented by modern military vehicles and the franchise’s trademark destructible environments. Given all the hype around the title, some players are considering getting their pre-orders in. And if that includes you, check out our Battlefield 6 pre-order guide before making your purchase decision.
All Battlefield 6 Editions & Prices

According to the reliable billbil-kun of Dealabls Magazine, Battlefield 6 will be available in two versions: The Standard Edition and the Phantom Edition. While their pre-order bonuses are yet to be confirmed, you can expect some cosmetic add-ons in both editions. The Phantom Edition, in particular, is essentially the Digital Deluxe version, meaning it’ll offer skins, cosmetics like weapon charms, and possibly a Season Pass tacked on. Here are the prices for both editions:
Edition | Price |
---|---|
Battlefield 6 Standard Edition | €79.99 |
Battlefield 6 Phantom Edition | €109.99 |
Unlike Battlefield 2042, BF6 will reportedly not offer an early access period for Deluxe Edition owners. Furthermore, Standard Edition owners will be able to upgrade to the Phantom variant for an additional €29.99.
The dollar prices for both editions are yet to be revealed or leaked, although 80 euros does equate to around 70 dollars. Of course, we’ll have to wait and see if EA decides to jump the gun and price the game at $80.
How to Pre-Order Battlefield 6
As per the same source, Battlefield 6’s pre-orders should go live on July 31. The pre-order window will reportedly be lifted following a multiplayer reveal event modeled around Call of Duty’s ‘Next’ showcases. Once they’re live, you’ll be able to pre-order BF6 by visiting the game’s page across the PlayStation Store, the Xbox Store, Steam, and EA Play.
Pre-ordering allows you to preload the game and jump in as soon as it unlocks on launch day. Besides this, you’ll also get some cosmetic rewards for free in the form of a pre-order bonus. It’s important to note that the game will only be available on current-generation consoles, meaning it’ll skip the PS4 and Xbox One machines.
And that wraps up our Battlefield 6 pre-order guide. Will you be pre-ordering the game once the option becomes available? Be sure to let us know in the comments.
