Apple unveiled the new Apple Watch Series 4 alongside three new iPhones at the recent iPhone launch event. The new Apple Watch is significantly more advanced than the previous generation, bringing unique capabilities like ECG monitoring that haven’t been seen in smartwatches before. At the launch event, Apple revealed that the new Apple Watch Series 4 will be priced starting at $399 (~Rs. 28,700) and will be available for pre-orders from September 14 with sales starting on September 21.

As of now, the company still hasn’t revealed any details about the availability of the Apple Watch Series 4 in India. However, the company has slashed the prices of the Apple Watch Series 3 in the country. The range now starts at Rs. 28,900 for the GPS variant and Rs. 37,900 for the GPS+cellular variant.
It’s worth noting that the Apple Watch Series 4 won’t ship with the ECG functions initially, with the company promising an update to enable the feature towards the end of the year.
