Android 16: Potential Release Date for Samsung Galaxy Devices
From what little we know so far, Samsung Android 16 update via One UI 8 will only be a minor incremental update. It may refine everything that was included in One UI 7, and adding some of the existing new features to older Samsung devices. That said, it could bring some new changes from Android 16, like live updates, Bluetooth audio sharing, and more resizable windows.
Given Android 16 is likely to come out sometime in late May or early June, we can expect Samsung to begin the beta testing starting at the same time, with the stable update coming out in July or August. That said, this window is applicable to the latest Samsung devices like the Galaxy S25 and older phones will have to wait much longer.
