Varka Is the Buff Hero Genshin Impact Players Have Been Manifesting

Female characters majorly dominate Genshin Impact, and rightly so, as they generally lead to better sales. However, that doesn’t mean that the occasional male character doesn’t do well. On the contrary, some of the most popular characters in the game are male, even with their low numbers. But lately, Genshin Impact’s male character models have had a major flaw. Most of them aren’t “buffed” in shape and instead share a lighter figure.

That’s also the reason why the few muscular male characters are truly celebrated in the community, like Wriothesley, Alhaitham, Arataki Itto, and, more recently, Flins. But none of these characters come even close to muscle monster Varka, who is set to become the most buff hero in Genshin Impact by a huge margin.

What Makes Varka Different in Genshin Impact

Varka is the Grand Master and Knight of Boreus of the Knights of Favonius, and he was finally revealed during the Nod-Krai trailer. The upcoming Genshin Impact Luna II version will feature Varka as an NPC, even though he is expected to become playable in later versions. Now, leaks have started to pour out about Varka’s in-game model, revealing him to be the buffest character in the game. Genshin Impact leakers are having the time of their lives comparing Varka’s leaked model with other male characters. His buffed-up muscles are putting every other character to shame, even making Wriothesly look like a child when standing side by side.

A Redditor and Genshin Impact fan jabbed, “Rizzly looks baby face in comparison.” While another fan pointed out that, “Poor guy (Wriothesly) doesn’t even look bad, but well, he’s the ‘buffest/most masculine’ playable model,” showing the major contrast between Varka and the other male characters in the game.

Reddit is full of posts on Varka’s comparisons to Neuvillette, Arataki Itto, and Wriothesley. The fun part is that these other characters are not tiny at all; they just look small in comparison to Varka. The massive size and muscles of Varka are so distinctly huge compared to the “normal adult male model” Genshin Impact fans are used to for years.

It’s Time We Get More Buffed Characters

Flins and now Varka seem to be the turning of the wheel for male characters in Genshin Impact. Although Flins may not be as big as Varka, he is still taller and slightly more buff than other male characters. After many years of prayers, it seems Genshin fans are finally going to say goodbye to the long, spindly-looking arms for “strong” male characters. Varka’s reception makes it clear that Genshin Impact players also want truly masculine characters.
