Valorant’s 26th agent Vyse is about to make her way into your game. Before you get to master her powers of roses and vice, learning all abilities is important. In this guide, we will explain all Valorant Vyse abilities. So, without wasting any time, let us jump into all the abilities of Vyse in Valorant.
All Abilities of Valorant Vyse
Razorvine (C)
Vyse can equip a nest of liquid metal that looks like a pile of brambles. Once you throw it in a certain location it goes invisible similar to a Killjoy nanoswarm. However, unlike the nanoswarm, it triggers a slowing effect first when you detonate it.
After the nest is triggered, it activates into an extended razorvine. The affected area slows and damages enemies who walk through it. Vyse can buy and use two of them per round. This can be an ideal trap ability for the latest sentinel in Valorant.
Shear (Q)
Just like other sentinels, Vyse also has her block-the-enemies ability. Shear is a wall ability that works like a trap. Vyse can place a wall trap on any wall. Once an enemy crosses this path, a wall appears behind them. This wall can be a crucial part of the abilities of Vyse in Valorant.
When we initially saw the teaser of Vyse, we saw a wall and the anticipation was how it would be different than a Sage wall. Well, the Vyse wall is indestructible and can separate enemies as soon as they cross it. After a certain duration, the wall goes away.
ArcRose (E)
We finally have a flash for a sentinel agent. Yes, Vyse’s signature ability is a flash. Vyse can equip a rose and put it on a target surface. Once it latches onto a surface, it goes invisible like a Cypher Spycam. You can also place it through the surface towards to opposite side by using ALT fire.
After placing it on a surface, reuse the ability to flash enemies looking towards it for a brief duration. You can also pick up the rose and redeploy it elsewhere like Cypher Spycam or Killjoy Turret.
Steel Garden (X)
Vyse’s ultimate is what we see in her reveal trailer towards the end. Vyse can throw a liquid metal bramble at a location. This creates a metal thorn bramble maze in the location. After a brief duration, the brambles erupt and affect any enemy within its range.
The erupted brambles put a vice grip on the enemy’s primary weapons. This forces them to use secondary weapons for a brief duration. However, there will not be any effect on the enemy’s movement, status, or abilities. So, carrying some good secondary might be useful.
And that’s everything you should know about the abilities of Vyse, Valorant’s newest sentinel agent coming later this week. What do you think about her ability kit? Do you think playing sentinels will feel fresh with her? Tell us your thoughts in the comments.
