Inspired by the epic Greek poem by Homer, The Odyssey will feature the story of Odysseus, the Greek king of Ithaca. The much-awaited film will also touch on the mythological aspects attached to the story, so get ready to see some of your favorite actors playing Gods or mythological figures. Matt Damon (Odysseus)
Matt Damon, the popular actor who appeared in several critically acclaimed projects over the years, is confirmed to take on the lead role in The Odyssey. The actor will play the role of Odysseus, the legendary king of Ithaca, who is on a journey back home after the deadly Trojan War.
