Many of the best warriors we have seen in the anime were part of this iconic clan. From the likes of Sasuke and Itachi to lesser-known characters like Shisui and Shin, we have explored the members of the Uchiha Clan in this article. There are only 29 known Uchiha clan members in the whole Naruto-verse at the moment. So based on the available information, we have compiled this list of the 15 strongest Uchiha clan members in the series. 1. Madara Uchiha

Madara Uchiha was the epitome of a godly character in the Naruto universe, and rightfully, ranks at the top of our list. He was the direct rival to another godly character Hashirama Senju who was known as the God of Shinobi. Together they both founded the Konohagakure (Hidden Leaf Village) we see today. The name of Madara Uchiha is enough to send shivers down the spine of shinobi nations, that’s how great he was. He was well-versed in Ninjutsu, Bukijutsu, Juinjutsu, and Dōjutsu, and additionally, had a powerful chakra too.

Further, he also unlocked the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan and even the Rinnegan. The Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan allowed him to create perfect Susanoo, and he could easily summon multiple Susanoos at once too. After becoming a Jinchiruki, he got the Rinne Sharingan too. This man had every single powerful ability and technique in the palm of his hands.

Madara Uchiha was considered to be the strongest Uchiha clan member in Naruto when alive, and even after decades, he lived up to his name when he was resurrected. He was also regarded as one of the most powerful shinobis to come into existence.

2. Sasuke Uchiha

Who else did you think will we rank after the legendary Madara? Of course, it’s the Shadow Hokage Sasuke Uchiha. Sasuke was a prodigy right from his childhood days. He was the main rival of our beloved protagonist Naruto and both of them fought and helped each other to become legendary shinobis in the TV series. Naruto always considered Sasuke on par with him, and we couldn’t agree more. Even Madara quoted that if Sasuke born a little earlier, he would have chosen him as an apprentice in place of Obito.

As the reincarnation of Indra, Sasuke was overpowered in his own way with strong chakra and ninjutsu abilities. He could perform the two best Dojutsu too – the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, and Rinnegan which greatly enhanced his overall powers. He can also create Susanoo and can combine it with Naruto’s nine-tails during the Fourth Great Ninja War.

Even now, there is no stopping Sasuke (even after losing an arm in his final battle against Naruto), who was able to hold Kinshiki Ōtsutsuki single-handedly (pun intended). Sasuke has been guarding the Konoha as a Shadow Hokage, much like his brother Itachi.

3. Obito Uchiha

Obito Uchiha was similar to Naruto in terms of ideals, but he went on to join the darker side due to some unfortunate circumstances in his life. He didn’t shine as a ninja when he was a kid, but in the end, he clearly became one of the most legendary characters we ever saw in the show. He used to be a member of Minato’s team, alongside Kakashi and Rin. Obito clearly fooled the fans by roaming around and claiming to be Tobi and Madara as part of the Akatsuki in Naruto.

His true potential was recognized by Madara, who raised him as a true beast that had excellent mastery over all of his skills. His signature move Kamui was an overpowered technique and greatly helped him in his battles. He was also a proficient user of Ninjutsu and Bukijutsu. Obito awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan after Rin’s death and although he had only one Sharingan, he was capable of standing tall against his enemies.

Further, Obito stole Nagato’s Rinnegan (also known as Pain in Naruto) and implanted it in him. With the powers of Mangekyō Sharingan and Rinnegan, and becoming a Jinchūriki in the end, Obito is regarded as one of the strongest members of the Uchiha clan in Naruto. He did realize his mistakes later on and joined the allied shinobis in the Fourth Great Ninja War.

4. Itachi Uchiha

Itachi Uchiha is not just one of the best members of the Uchiha clan, but he is one of the greatest characters to be created in the history of anime. We have seen countless prodigies in the show, but to us, he is the epitome of a prodigy. Itachi was highly mature from a young age and surely had the talents, which he honed and perfected at such a young age. He cleared all the exams quickly and became the captain of the special squad Anbu.

Itachi was an unrivaled genius with his high intelligence and battling prowess. He possessed great amounts of chakra and was a greatly skilled user of Ninjutsu, Bukijutsu, Genjutsu, and Dōjutsu. After Itachi unlocked Mangekyō Sharingan, he was able to perform Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi flawlessly. His Genjutsu skills were on par with Shisui, and both of them were hailed as the greatest users of Sharingan for that.

To top all of this, he could also create a perfect Susanoo, which was considered invincible. Itachi truly sacrificed his life for his people and country, and one can only dream of what he achieved in his life.

5. Indra Ōtsutsuki‎

Although Indra Ōtsutsuki‎ hails from the Ōtsutsuki‎ clan, he’s the founder of the Uchiha clan and rightly has a place on our list. He was the firstborn son of the Sage of Six Paths, Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki. Indra is also the creator of ninjutsu and played a vital part in the story of the Naruto series. Since he is the firstborn of the Sage of Six Paths, he inherited the powerful aspects from his father and was the first wonder kid we ever saw in the show. Indra was indeed a godly character and is one of the strongest Uchiha members we saw in Naturo.

He had a supreme chakra and could perform many ninjutsu techniques as he was the creator of them in the first place. Indra also inherited his eyes from his father and awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan by killing his best friends. He mastered its abilities and was able to unlock the mighty Susanoo. He could also enable the hardest complete body for Susanoo.

6. Shisui Uchiha

Shisui Uchiha is regarded as one of the finest talents ever produced in the Uchiha clan to this day. He was also a wonder kid known as the “Shisui of the Body Flicker” for his signature Body Flicker Technique. Danzo lauded him as the Powerful Uchiha of his time. With his huge talent and exceptional skills, he continued to grow and became a member of Konoha’s special squad Anbu.

Shisui awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan and mastered its abilities to a whole new level. With his powers, he rivaled Itachi who was also an excellent Sharingan user. But he was hailed as the best user of Sharingan in his clan, which easily proves his immense knowledge and usage of his Sharingan. He could use legendary techniques such as Kotoamatsukami and Susanoo, which were too OP and made his opponents tremble. Also, Shisui was a great friend of Itachi’s and taught him a lot about the powers and the world of shinobi. This later shaped Itachi as one of the greatest characters in Naruto.

7. Izuna Uchiha

One can’t fail to notice that Izuna Uchiha shared a striking resemblance to Sasuke Uchiha. Izuna was the brother of the infamous Madara Uchiha and the son of Tajima Uchiha (read more about him below). Together with Madara, they both were known to be the strongest duo of their clan during their times. Before Madara unlocked his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, Izuna was known to be equal in terms of power with his brother.

Izuna and Madara challenged each other to sharpen their skills, and they did become the greatest powers in the world. Together, they both became two of the strongest Uchiha members the world has ever witnessed. While his brother went against Hashirama, Izuna was the main rival to Tobirama. He also acquired Mangekyō Sharingan, but sadly, he passed away before we saw him use it in action. Izuna was surely a prodigious character according to the databook, and it makes us sad that we didn’t get to see more of his powers.

8. Shin Uchiha

• Debut: Episode 20 (Boruto), Manga Chapter 700+2
• Kekkei Genkai: Sharingan and Mangekyō Sharingan

Shin Uchiha was an unexpected addition to the Uchiha clan in the show. Technically, he wasn’t born an Uchiha like the other members on this list. He was Orichimaru’s test subject and declared himself a member of the Uchiha clan in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. He then abandoned Orochimaru and escaped with his clones (whom he refers to as sons). Shin always stayed one step ahead of his opponents and showed his tactical skills in the show. He also demonstrated his battling prowess against Sakura.

Shin’s body modification gave him the upper hand in his fights and multiple matured Sharingan were implanted into his body. He also managed to unlock the Mangekyō Sharingan. Together with his weirdly powerful body and his Dojutsu powers, he was able to perform various feats flawlessly and tirelessly unlike other Uchihas.

Shin was also a medical ninja expert who could perform surgeries on himself. Therefore, Shin is now growing up to be a powerful character and may possibly dethrone some of the strongest Uchiha members on this list.

9. Fugaku Uchiha

• Debut: Episode 84, Manga Chapter 145
• Kekkei Genkai: Sharingan and Mangekyō Sharingan
• Nature type: Fire Release, and Yin Release
• Ninja Rank: Jōnin

Fugaku Uchiha was the father of the famous Uchiha brothers: Itachi and Sasuke. He was the leader of the Uchiha clan at that time as well as the leader of the Konoha Military Police Force. Being in two important positions in the Hidden Leaf village showcases his authoritative powers and how much of a respectable character he was among the clan. Like both of his sons, Fugaku was known as a genius during his time and his talents rivaled that of Minato Namikaze (Naruto’s father). Note that he was considered to be a prime candidate for the fourth Hokage position.

He was fearlessly known as the Wicked Eye Fugaku, which sent shivers down the spine of shinobis from other nations. As a result, it is known that he was extremely skilled at Ninjutsu and Dojutsu. He awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan and was self-confident that he could even control the Nine-Tailed fox with that.

10. Kagami Uchiha

Kagami Uchiha was a Jōnin-level ninja from the Uchiha clan in Naruto. Many of you might have failed to notice this underrated Uchiha member, but he used to be a shinobi alongside Danzo and Sarutobi when he was growing up. Though we don’t know much about him, his praises from legends such as Danzo and Shisui tell a lot about his character.

He is considered to have a strong chakra and can use his Sharingan to its full capabilities. Danzo praised him and his Sharingan for saving his life numerous times throughout his career. Shisui Uchiha (who was also a descendant of Kagami’s family line) lauded that he was much weaker when compared to his ancestor Kagami. Therefore, these praises earned a spot for Kagami in our list of strongest Uchiha members in Naruto.

11. Tajima Uchiha

• Debut: Episode 368, Manga Chapter 623
• Kekkei Genkai: Sharingan

Tajima Uchiha served as a member of the Uchiha clan during the war-torn era before Naruto’s Konoha village was created. Losing three sons in battle, we saw Tajima left with Madara and Izuna Uchiha at the end. Then, just like Madara went up toe to toe against Hashirama Senju, Tajima went against Butsuma Senju. He was gifted with the Sharingan and mastered its abilities to enhance his combat skills.

Tajima was also seen carrying a tantō and is confirmed to be a user of Kenjutsu. Tajima appeared only shortly in the flashbacks in Naruto, and we do not know much more about him.

12. Naori Uchiha

• Debut: Episode 338 (Only shown in anime)
• Kekkei Genkai: Sharingan and Mangekyō Sharingan

Naori Uchiha was a Kunoichi from the Uchiha clan and was regarded as one of the most powerful ninjas during her time. She was able to awaken her Sharingan and also unlock the Mangekyō Sharingan. She was also highly skilled in Kenjutsu, as she was seen carrying a sword with her all the time. It is also considered that she may be the first user to pull off the dangerous Izanami technique (the subject of Izanami is imprisoned in an eternal loop of Genjutsu, with no chance of escape unless they accept themselves).

She used this technique to save her friend Naka Uchiha who was obsessed with the Izanagi power he found. Thus, she made him realize his mistakes inside the Izanami, and eventually, he broke the loop by accepting it. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see more of Naori, but she is one of the strongest members of the Uchiha clan without a doubt.

13. Sarada Uchiha

• Nature type: Fire Release, Wind Release, Lightning Release, and Yin Release

Sarada Uchiha is the daughter of Sasuke and Sakura Uchiha. She is a friend of Boruto and a member of Team Konohamaru. She aspires to become the next Hokage, just like Naruto. Sarada is currently a Chūnin, and it’s only natural that she has inherited all the talents and intelligence skills from her parents. That’s why she is considered more powerful than her father was at her age.

She awakened her Sharingan when she was 11 and has unlocked up to three tomoes as of now. Sarada is considered to be a major character in the new era and has incredible power and skill already. She is a young prodigy like her dad with immense powerful chakra and possesses a piece of great knowledge of ninjutsu.

Sarada can also aid as a medic as she has learned medical ninjutsu from her mom. She is truly a powerful combination of her parents and could become an overpowered character any time soon.

14. Other Uchihas

Izumi Uchiha is remembered by fans as the soon-to-be girlfriend of Itachi Uchiha. Unluckily, that ship didn’t end up as we thought. Although she awakened her Sharingan after her father’s death during the Nine-Tailed Fox’s attack on Konoha, she couldn’t unlock its full potential. She died in the arms of her lover, and we couldn’t see her become a skilled Kunoichi.

Another lesser-known member of the Uchiha clan, Inabi Uchiha was one of the people who confronted Itachi about Shisui’s death since he was a senior officer of the Konoha Military Police Force. It is known that he awakened his Sharingan and possessed a strong chakra. That’s why he was later reincarnated by Kabuto.

Hikaku Uchiha was known as a strong ninja from the Uchiha clan even before Konoha was founded. He awakened his Sharingan and had a great set of leadership skills which makes him remembered by all even after his death.

Sakura is originally a descendant of the Haruno clan, but technically, she becomes a member of the Uchiha Clan after marrying Sasuke in Naruto. She is a member of Kakashi’s renowned Team 7 alongside Naruto and Sasuke. She is an overpowered character during the Fourth Great Ninja War and is now regarded as one of the greatest medical-nin of all time.

Although not many fans appreciated Sakura’s personality, she emerged as a stronger character, especially after her training with Tsunade. She sharpened her Taijutsu skills and increased her chakra power levels. At the end of the anime, she was able to master the “Strength of a Hundred Seal,” which greatly increased her expertise in medical ninjutsu. Therefore, if we were to rank Sakura in our list, she will be next to Indra or Shisui for sure.
