In comics, Frank killed Ma Gnucci’s two sons, and she goes after him in pursuit of vengeance. Another theory states that the Punisher special could revolve around Frank hunting down the people who have been misusing his symbol, as seen in Daredevil: Born Again. There’s another possibility that states that the events which will unfold in this show will lead to how Frank Castle will bump into Spider-Man in Brand New Day.
