February is shaping up to be an exciting month for Pokemon GO fans, with multiple events running throughout. Here’s a quick overview of all major events happening this month:

1. Lunar New Year (January 29 – February 2)
The month starts with the Lunar New Year celebration, bringing increased chances for Lucky Pokemon trades and Lucky Friend opportunities. During this Pokemon GO event, you’ll have better odds when trading with friends, and Dragon-type Pokemon will appear more frequently in the wild.
2. Legendary Flight (February 3)
Mark your calendars for February 3, when Dynamax Moltres makes its appearance in Pokemon GO! This powerful Fire/Flying-type appears in its Dynamax form for a special one-hour event.
During the event, you’ll have an increased chance of encountering Dynamax Moltres in Max Raids. Make sure to stock up on Max Balls before the event starts.
3. Small Yet Strong (February 5-8)
This unique Pokemon GO event celebrates the smallest yet most powerful Pokemon in the game. You’ll see increased spawns of compact but mighty Pokemon like Joltik and Flabebe in the wild. The event features special research tasks focused on these tiny powerhouses, with chances to earn extra Stardust and special encounters.
4. February Community Day (February 9)
The February Community Day features a special three-hour event with increased spawns and shiny chances of the featured Pokemon (to be announced). During the event, you’ll enjoy special bonuses, including longer incense duration and exclusive special moves when the featured Pokemon is evolving.
5. Beloved Buddies (February 11-15)
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the Beloved Buddies event celebrates Pokemon friendships. You’ll see increased spawns of pink-colored Pokemon and those associated with friendship. The event includes special buddy-focused research tasks and bonuses for walking with your buddy Pokemon.
6. Raid Day (February 15)
A special three-hour raid event with featured raid bosses. During the event, you’ll get five free raid passes from spinning gym Photo Discs and increased shiny chances for featured raid Pokemon. More details will be announced closer to the event date.
7. Scattered to the Winds (February 18-20)
This Pokemon GO Event will focus on Flying-type Pokemon and those associated with wind. You’ll see increased spawns of Flying-types in the wild and special research tasks themed around these aerial creatures.
8. Road to Unova & Pokemon GO Tour Unova
The month ends with the massive Road to Unova event leading into the Tour Unova celebration. This special event brings various Unova region Pokemon to the game, including the debut of Shiny Meloetta. Expect increased spawns of Unova Pokemon, special research tasks, and raid battles featuring legendary Pokemon from the region.
