Vision Quest Revolves Mostly Around Parental Trauma, Says Paul Bettany
Pauly Bettany recently appeared at the Los Angeles Comic Con, where he spoke about his return as Vision and also shared certain details about the upcoming Marvel TV show – Vision Quest. While answering questions, he told all the attendees that Vision Quest will explore themes of “Intergenerational Trauma” and being at peace with who we really are. In his comment, Paul said-
“It’s about intergenerational trauma… fathers and sons and denial of pain and denial of your own truth and coming to terms with who and what you are“
Now introducing the theme of Intergenerational Trauma could be directly pointing towards the effect Ultron’s return might have on Vision. Other than that, we also have confirmation of Ruaridh Mollica appearing as ‘Tucker” in the series, and speculation has it that he could turn out to be the vessel for Tommy Maximoff AKA Speed’s soul.
If this element turns out to be true, the theme could also resonate with the complications between Speed and his father, Vision.
