The OnePlus 6 was officially unveiled last evening in London after a whole lot of leaks, rumors and speculations in the preceding weeks that left very little to the imagination as far as the feature-set of the device was concerned. There were also expectations about a special ‘Avengers Edition’ OnePlus 6.
While the OnePlus 6 Avengers Edition was shown off on the company’s Chinese website earlier today, the company was yet to reveal where and when the phone will be available. Now, the company has launched the phone in India, and according to the company, it will be available for purchase in the country from 29 May at Rs. 44,999. Goes without saying, like the regular variants, the Avengers Edition will also be available exclusively on Amazon.

While the hardware specs of the Avengers edition OnePlus 6 will remain identical to the regular model, it will be available in the just one configuration – 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. If you were looking to pick up one of the more affordable versions, tough luck, because it doesn’t look like OnePlus will give you other options any time soon.
It’s worth noting here that it’s still not entirely clear whether the device will see a global release or if it will be restricted to any particular region. Thankfully though, for Marvel fans in India, they won’t have to worry about availability, because they’ll be able to pick up a unit in the country, if only for a few bucks extra. If you are looking to buy it, though, do note that it is a limited edition device that will very likely sell out fairly quick.
