Does Chopper Join the Straw Hats in One Piece Live-Action?

After the Straw Hat Pirates defeat Wapol and his monstrous army in the final episode of live-action One Piece Season 2, Luffy asks the adorable Chopper to join their crew. The crew is in desperate need of a doctor, but Chopper initially declines their offer. As Chopper begins to question whether a reindeer like him can ever become a pirate, Luffy immediately shuts down his thoughts by asking him to board the Going Merry ship and sail with them as a pirate.

Thus, Luffy clears Chopper’s doubts about a reindeer becoming part of their crew, and the reindeer becomes an official member of the Straw Hat Pirates at the end of One Piece Season 2. Chopper will be the doctor of the Straw Hats from now on, and the reindeer will be playing a significant role in the upcoming seasons, just like the rest of the crew members.

Dr. Kureha Gives Chopper Her Blessing

Though Chopper has made up his mind to join Luffy’s crew, Dr. Kureha, who raised him after Dr. Hiriluk, initially refuses his decision to join the Straw Hats.
