The ongoing Elbaf arc has long been claimed to be Usopp’s arc, but we never got to see our sniper shine until now. As usual, the rest of the Straw Hat Pirates are taking the spotlight with each honing their combat strength. The latest Straw Hat to get an exciting power-up is none other than Franky. Our shipwright hasn’t received any upgrades for a long time. But thanks to Lilith, Franky gets a SUPERRR power-up in One Piece Chapter 1176, and it can also be the key to upgrading the Thousand Sunny ship.

Lilith Helps Franky Unlock His New Cola Power-Up in One Piece
Everyone anticipated the Egghead arc to be the one in which Franky gets a major power-up, since the arc involved futuristic tech and the smartest man in the world. But it never became a reality, with the only special moment being Vegapunk finding out that Franky is powered by Cola just like the Thousand Sunny Ship. Now this piece of information has come in handy in the Elbaf arc, where Lilith, the only proper surviving Vegapunk satellite, has come up with a new invention in the giants’ homeland.
Lilith remarks that the land of Elbaf is brimming with energy. After questioning Franky about why he never tried anything else besides plain cola to supercharge him, Lilith presents Franky with a new, powerful cola called the “Super Vega-Cola.” Unlike the plain cola Franky has been using all these years, Lilith’s cola has exploding levels of power.
The Vegapunks were amazed by Franky’s cyborg design in the past, and now even Lilith shares that he is on par with a pacifista. Since cola has been the backbone of Franky’s powers, the all-new upgraded Cola significantly increases the destructive power of Franky’s super attacks. It becomes much more evident when Franky unleashes his new attack, “Super Strong: Dexter,” powered by Super Vega-Cola to destroy the Lindworm’s face in One Piece chapter 1176.
Finally, it feels so good to see our shipwright getting some love from Oda after a long time. Now, the exciting thing about this new power-up is that it just doesn’t stop with Franky. The other main thing that is powered by Franky’s cola is the Thousand Sunny ship. Earlier, when Franky was getting an Elbaf tour with Ripley, he came across the Treasure Tree Adam. It was the very same wood the Thousand Sunny Ship is made of.
All the signs point to the Straw Hat Pirates’ ship receiving a massive upgrade here at Elbaf before we move on to the final island. We have the new raw material and the fuel needed for upgrading the Thousand Sunny already, so Franky will definitely upgrade the crew’s ship at the end of the Elbaf arc.
