The Egghead war is slowly approaching its end in the One Piece anime. As one would expect, the final moments in the Egghead arc are full of surprises. Kuma and Bonney, the father-daughter duo, unexpectedly took center stage. Dr. Vegapunk, who had already betrayed the World Government by researching the Void Century, committed another crime for their sake, and that’s what we are here to talk about. The old genius secretly gave full control of the Pacifistas to Bonney, and here is why I believe this will give the Straw Hats an upper hand when the final war breaks out in One Piece.

Can Bonney Control the Pacifistas?
Dr. Vegapunk was always opposed to Saturn’s plan to transform Kuma into a soulless cyborg. But Saturn succeeded in his plan as Kuma eventually agreed to his terms in order to save his daughter from a deadly disease.
In addition, Vegapunk created the Pacifista, weaponized clones based on Bartholomew Kuma, for the World Government. However, his very own creation haunted him. If you are wondering why, it’s because Vegapunk kept worrying that Pacifistas, who were a spitting image of Kuma, would one day harm Bonney as she set out as a pirate to locate her father.
His creations robbed him of sleep as he neither wanted Bonney getting killed by her beloved father nor Kuma murdering his daughter. That is why Vegapunk secretly programmed a special command, making all his creations that resemble Kuma serve Bonney and carry out her commands. Vegapunk remarked that it’s the sole selfish decision he made in his life. He placed Bonney at the top of the Pacifista command hierarchy, even above the Five Elders.
Therefore, yes, Bonney has absolute control over all of the pacifistas. Moreover, since S-Bear, one of the Seraphims, also has the same appearance as Kuma, it may also come under Bonney’s command. I say this because S-Snake Seraphim replicated the feeling Boa Hancock has for Luffy. So, we could expect S-Bear to be protective of Bonney, like Kuma has always been.
Bonney Can Help Straw Hats Turn the Tides of the Final War
Of course, the Seraphims are the pinnacle of innovation and a superior version of the Pacifista. But one shouldn’t dismiss the Mark III models as they are also one of the strongest human weapons in existence in the One Piece world.
When Bonney flipped the switches of the Pacifistas, they obliterated the marines to a point where St. Nusjuro, one of the Gorosei, had to step up and exterminate them.
Saturn considered it the ultimate betrayal and stabbed Dr. Vegapunk to death with his spider leg. So, you can now understand that Pacifistas are an indispensable weapon in the World Government’s arsenal, and their control has now fallen into the hands of Bonney.
From here on out, we can’t help but wonder about the role of Bonney and her pacifistas in the next arcs in One Piece. Bonney’s dream was to be reunited with her father, and that became true at the end of the Egghead arc. Currently, Lilith, one of Vegapunk’s satellites, mentioned that she will restore Kuma to his old form. If that happens, Bonney and Kuma may go on to pursue their dream of travelling across the seas.
However, the final war is already breaking out in the series when Imu arrived on Egghead. There is no time to rest (no matter who) when the fate of the world is on the line. Luffy will need every last one of his nakama when waging war against the World Government. Kuma and his daughter, who have been seeking freedom all their life, will obviously stand alongside the Straw Hat Pirates. Kuma may also go back to the Revolutionary Army, as he was a former army commander.
No matter what, as we gather every One Piece character for the final war, Bonney might utilize her command over pacifistas and bring the units to the fight. This UNO reverse moment will definitely shake the Marines and is bound to bring an advantage to the Straw Hats.
