NYT Connections May 17

Today’s NYT Connections puzzle loved to dive into categories that confused and interested me simultaneously. I began with the Yellow category and solved it almost instantly since the words were base themselves.

The Green category came next, and even though I’m a chronic people avoider, I knew what the words here meant. I’ll admit that I initially got confused with the words in the Blue category to be baseball terms. Well, some of them, anyway. But a few minutes of brainstorming helped me out.

I only had four words left. As always, I connected them all together, along with the Purple category and the NYT Connections puzzle for May 17!
