Similar to season 2, the first episode of MHA season 3 is also a recap of its previous season, but it also features some anime-original content for the first time. After the rigorous training sessions, our class 1-A and B heroes get together for a summer camp. If you are a fan of the summer special episodes of shonen, you can watch this episode for fun, or else it’s a definite skip.

3. Episode 58 (Season 3 Episode 20): Special Episode: Save the World With Love!

MHA season 3 features another filler episode, but it’s not a recap episode this time. As the title implies, episode 58 is special as it serves as the prologue to the first MHA movie, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes. It’s an entertaining filler on its own; however, if you plan to watch the MHA movies as well, then this episode is a must-watch for you.

4. Episode 64 (Season 4 Episode 1): The Scoop on U.A. Class 1-A

Following the tradition, the opening episode of the fourth season is a filler episode. This is also an anime-original episode where Taneo Tokuda, a freelance journalist, comes to interview the students of class 1-A. It’s a decent filler to watch, but if you are fully focused on the canon story, then you can skip it and proceed ahead.

5. Episode 104 (Season 5 Episode 16): Long Time No See, Selkie

The final filler episode of MHA is in the fifth season, and no more fillers are going forward. Long Time No See, Selkie is a girls’ day out episode featuring the fan favorite female characters of MHA. Furthermore, this episode sets the stage for the most recent MHA movie titled My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission.
