Previously, this list featured heroes such as Deadpool, White Fox, Black Cat, Devil Dinosaur, and Cyclops – all of whom have since joined the Marvel Rivals roster, establishing the credibility of these leaks.

Among the datamined characters, there is a strong presence of mutants, including Amaranth, Beast, Colossus, Professor X, Nightcrawler, and more. All five heroes have been rumored to join the game since Season 2, so their debuts should ideally be after Season 10 at this point. Now, let’s go over the heroes who are strongly claimed to arrive in Marvel Rivals seasons 9, 10, and 11:

The new Apocalypse gallery card in Marvel Rivals Season 8.5 directly teases the arrival of The Hood (Vanguard) and Jubilee (Strategist) in Marvel Rivals Season 9. In case you didn’t know, NetEase has a tradition of teasing the new heroes debuting in the upcoming season in the gallery cards.

The description of the card also confirms their debuts. “A man wearing the cloak of Oblivion…” which is definitely The Hood, and “.. means turning her fireworks against her former friends,” fireworks is often associated with the mutant, Jubilee. Let’s wait and see who will join the hero roster first in Marvel Rivals Season 9.

Marvel Rivals Season 10 Leaked Heroes: Gorr and Nighcrawler

Gorr (Duelist), the God Butcher, whom you must have met in the last Thor movie, is on his way to join Marvel Rivals. Along with him, the demonic mutant Nightcrawler (Strategist) is expected to make a debut in Marvel Rivals Season 10. Nightcrawler has been teased for a long time; it’s about time he joins and creates chaos on the battlefield with his teleporting powers.

Lastly, the latest leak indicates that Doctor Doom (Vanguard) is stepping into the battlefield in Marvel Rivals Season 11. NetEase recently announced the Path to Doomsday, where multiple events are themed after the Avengers movies. Since Avengers Doomsday is coming out in December this year, NetEase may be planning to make Doctor Doom a playable hero in season 11 and create hype for the movie. We don’t know who else will debut alongside Doom in the 11th season at the moment.

With that being said, a popular post in the now-deleted Marvel Rivals leaks Discord server suggested that the devs had intentionally planted red herrings to throw off dataminers. The leakers argued that planting fake character names would require too much unnecessary work, and it’s unclear which theory is more accurate. As such, we highly recommend taking this list with a grain of salt.

Beyond the leaked Marvel Rivals characters mentioned above, the devs have also teased potential additions directly. A great example of this is a social media post by Danny Koo, which strongly hinted at the characters from the Eternals joining Marvel Rivals.

There hasn’t been any development on the matter since, but that’s likely because heroes require months of development. He also mentioned that NetEase’s original characters won’t be joining the Marvel Rivals hero roster anytime soon.

Another example worth mentioning is tied to Ant-Man. Rivals players will likely remember the Pym Test Kitchen stall, which could temporarily make players as small as Ant-Man, or as giant as…Ant-Man. At the time, many believed that this mechanic was essentially a field test to see how Ant-Man’s shrinking abilities would play out in the game. And that theory certainly makes sense because NetEase would have little reason to experiment with the feature otherwise.

Those are all the leaked Marvel Rivals characters we know of so far. We will update the list with more characters as we learn about them. Which of these heroes are you excited to see first in the game? Do tell us in the comments below.
