Huawei Mate 30 Pro official poster leaked

Of recent, Huawei has been launching smartphones with unique designs and capabilities. Be it the Mate 20 Pro or P30 Pro, the company places a ton of focus on camera prowess. The former had quite a powerful square camera module, whereas the latter ushered the era of superior zooming capabilities earlier this year. Well, the Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro launch is right around the corner and a leaked poster today found its way online, giving us a good look at some of the key design elements.

The leaked poster attached below was shared on Weibo and it confirms the recent leaks. Huawei Mate 30 Pro will feature a waterfall screen, with close to a 100% screen-to-body ratio and a smaller notch that last time. You can see that it isn’t a waterdrop notch like Huawei P30 Pro instead, it seems to house at least three cameras. This means it will be packing a 3D face authentication features, as has been rumored for some time now.

While the front of the Mate 30 Pro in this render looks gorgeous, we are more intrigued about the circular camera cutout, which looks even more eye-grabbing. There isn’t a whole lot of information available on this camera setup, which seems to be paired with a Xenon flash on the left. Huawei has trademarked a number of features such as Cine Lens, Matrix Camera, SuperSensing Camera, and more.

Under the hood, Mate 30 Pro will be powered by the Kirin 990 chipset which will be unveiled by the company at IFA 2019 in a couple of weeks. The device will run EMUI 10 based on Android 10 out-of-the-box, making it one of the few devices to launch with the latest iteration of Android in tow.

If the rumor mill is to be believed, Huawei Mate 30 series will officially be launched on September 16 with a new Kirin chipset, quad rear-cameras, and Apple’s FaceID-like feature. What are your expectations from Huawei’s upcoming flagship? Let us know down in the comments section.
