  • First, go ahead and install the CastReceiver app (Free, offers in-app purchases) on the Android phone or tablet you want to turn into a Chromecast receiver.
  • Next, open the app and allow the necessary permissions, including the ability to display over other apps.

  • Now, move to your primary device and open an app that supports casting like YouTube, Google Photos, or YouTube Music.
  • After that, tap on the “cast” button, and you will find the casting device you just installed the app on. Simply select it.
  • And there you go! It will start casting the media on another Android device.
