Copper bars require only a single ingredient— copper ingots. All you need is six copper ingots that can give you 16 copper bars.

While the copper ingots can be easily obtained from smelting raw copper, the crafting table can be made using four wooden planks of any type. You will find raw copper from its ores all around the overworld if you do a bit of mining around Y level = 43. Otherwise, explore the mountain peaks to find exposed copper ores as well.

How to Make a Copper Bar in Minecraft

Once you collect the ingredients, follow the steps below to make copper bars in Minecraft:

  • Place a crafting table and right-click to open its UI.
  • Fill up the first two rows of the crafting table with six copper ingots.
  • Now, you will see there are 16 copper bars available on the right.
  • Simply drag and drop the copper bars in your inventory.

Best Uses of Copper Bars in Minecraft

The copper bars can only be used as decorations in Minecraft. Apart from this, there are no uses for these items. If you were searching for a way to bring color to your Minecraft house build where the silver iron bars don’t really match your aesthetic, the copper bars are what you need.

The copper bars come in four different colors based on their oxidation state. The base, unoxidized copper bars are orange in color, exposed bars are orange with green spots, weathered bars are green with orange spots, and the oxidized bars are completely green in color.
