Honkai Star Rail Free 5-Star Character: Get Dr. Ratio for Free

Honkai Star Rail 1.6 Livestream revealed a lot of exciting information regarding the upcoming 1.6 update, which will be released on December 27, 2023. One of the big reveals of the evening was HoYoverse’s plan to gift the new 5-star character, Dr. Ratio, for free. This generosity from HoYoverse is to celebrate their recent award wins for the TGA Best Mobile Game, iPhone Game of the Year, and Google Play 2023 Best Game. The 5-Star character Dr. Ratio will be gifted to every player who has completed the Trailblaze Mission ‘The Blue — A Moment of Peace’ and unlocked the Mailbox Function, once the version 1.6 ‘Panta Rhei event warp’ hits the upcoming Honkai Star Rail 1.6 banners.

The Blue — A Moment of Peach is the third part of the first Trailblaze Mission — Today Is Yesterday’s Tomorrow. This is part of the initial tutorial missions which explains the game mechanics to the starting players. Completing this mission will also unlock the Mailbox function in the game.

Once the Panta Rhei event warp releases in the game, Dr. Ratio will be sent to the account Mailbox of all the players, provided the above prerequisites are fulfilled. Simply open the Account Mail and claim the 5-star character Dr. Ratio to have him.

Honkai Star Rail Free 5-Star Character: Claim Time Period

The 5-star character Dr. Ratio can be attained for free between the release of the version 1.6 Panta Rhei event warp and the end of version 2.1. We don’t know the exact number of days, but calculating based on the norms, it is estimated to be around for 105 days or 3 and a half months, which is a considerable amount of time to claim him.

Free 4-Star Character in Honkai Star Rail 1.6

Other than the free 5-star character, Honkai Star Rail will also reward Lynx – the 4-star Abundance character, for free after completing any phase of stage 2 of Pure Fiction game mode. Pure Fiction is the new upcoming game mode in version 1.6 and it will feature constantly respawning enemies. Defeating the respawning enemies will rack up points, which will unlock rewards. Furthermore, each phase of Pure Fiction can reward up to 720 Stellar Jades.
