Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya has finally been revealed in the new Genshin Impact Snezhnaya trailer. She looks absolutely majestic, and the Genshin Impact community cannot stop talking about her. Anastasya, aka The Tsaritsa, has been the center of everything happening in the Genshin Impact storyline, making this one of the most significant character reveals in the game’s history. Who is “The Tsaritsa” Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya in Genshin Impact?
The Tsaritsa, or Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya, is the Cryo Archon in Genshin Impact and the ruler of Snezhnaya. With the region sharing the name with her, we can even assume that she created and has been ruling the region from the very beginning. In Genshin Impact, Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya wants to obtain all the Gnoses to have enough strength to challenge Celestia. Well, at least we have assumed the last part, as her actual intentions are still unknown. However, the new trailer showed a little kid, likely the 3rd Descender Saarlainen, who called the Tsaritsa his mother. A moment later, the kid would disappear, and we would hear Anastasya blame the Heavenly Principles.
This hints at the fight between the 3rd Descender and Heavenly Principles that led to the kid’s death. That means it is possible that the Tsaritsa chose to rebel against the Heavenly Principles ever since then. At the very end, we see the Tsaritsa fighting Ronova, one of the Four Shades. So, expect to see a confrontation with the Rulers in the Snezhnaya arc.
Genshin Impact Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya ‘Tsaritsa’ Expected Release Date
There is no confirmed release date for “The Tsaritsa,” aka Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya, in Genshin Impact. However, we can make some solid guesses based on past patterns. The archons, or major characters like Columbina in Nod-Krai, are often released during the x.3 version. This means that “The Tsaritsa will most likely be released in Genshin Impact 7.3. If the game follows the normal 42-day cycle, then Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya should be released in late December or early January of 2027.
But this is more of a guess based on past patterns than on concrete information. Also, during our calculation, we left out the possibility of a Luna IX version. If Genshin Impact does add a Luna IX version, then expect Snezhnaya to get delayed for another 42 days. However, expect to see the Tsaritsa make an appearance during the Genshin Impact 7.0 Archon quest.
Genshi Impact Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya Kit: Rarity, Element, and Weapon
This is still too early to have leaks about the Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya, aka Tsaritsa’s, kit in Genshin Impact. However, the latest trailer does reveal a key point that we have mentioned below:
- Rarity: 5-Star
- Element: Cryo
- Weapon: Polearm
- Abilities: Will likely have something to do with Stellar Conduct, the new Genshin Impact Snezhnaya reaction.
When it comes to the Tsaritsa, we can confirm her to be a 5-star character. This is quite clear simply due to her importance in the game’s storyline, and also the fact that every other Archon has been a 5-star character so far.
Next, her element will be Cryo, as she is the Cryo Archon. Having a different element will make zero sense for her lore. When it comes to her weapons, we did get a sneak peek of her holding a large staff or polearm in the trailer. This hints that Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya’s weapon of choice would be the Polearm.
Now, take the final detail with a grain of salt, as Hoyoverse is known for changing the weapon type of a character even if it showcased it differently at first. A clear example would be Raiden Shogun having a Polearm as a weapon instead of a Sword.
When it comes to her abilities, it is more than likely that it would have to do something with the new Stellar Conduct reaction, introduced with Sandrone’s kit.
