This update will take players into the Fatui’s heartland, where Traveler will get to finally speak with the Tsaritsa. Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya, the Tsaritsa
Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya is the Tsaritsa of Snezhnaya and the Cryo Archon. Her face has finally been revealed, and she looks absolutely majestic. The new trailer showed the Cryo Archon reminiscing about a kid who called her mother, and it is implied that the Heavenly Principles took the child away from her. At the very end, we see the Tsaritsa fighting both Ronova and Rhinedottir of the Four Shades. This is likely a symbolic way to show Snezhnaya’s defiance against Celestia.
Noy
Noy is one of the important characters in Genshin Impact Snezhnaya. His brief appearance leaves a lasting impact as he calls the current age peaceful compared to “eons gone by”. This clearly suggests that Noy has been around for quite a while, and if his pointed ears are not props, he is likely from the same race of fallen angels as Nicole in Genshin Impact.
Mitya
Mitya is among the few characters who didn’t have much to say in the trailer. He is shown reading books while sitting in front of massive machinery that features a giant dial. Here, he mentions something about ‘the Kresnik’s Torch.’ Coincidentally, he bears a striking resemblance to Misha of Honkai Star Rail, who ended up being the Watchmaker of the Penacony arc, a key figure in the story.
Vesna
Vesna is part of the Druzhna, a security group that serves the Tsartisa. She is shown to command a group of soldiers to search the area. Vesna has little butterfly wings on her back and also features the same pointed ears as Noy and Nicole. Her vision was also revealed in the trailer, and it appears to be Anemo.
Danica
Danica appears to be a maid in the trains of Snezhnaya that was revealed sometime back. She is shown to neutralize threats in the most ‘proper’ and sophisticated way possible. Despite her appearance, she is clearly a very strong character.
“The Rooster” Pulcinella
“The Rooster” Pulcinella is the fifth-ranked Fatui Harbinger, and this is his second appearance in the three Snezhnaya trailers revealed thus far. This means that Pulcinella will become one of the key figures in the upcoming storyline. We see Pulcinella talk about the “Project Stuzha,” asking a committee of people about its approval. The Project Stuzha seems to be a key factor for the upcoming storyline.
“Regrator” Pantalone
“Regrator” Pantalone, or Feofan Sergeyevich Veskel, is the eleventh-ranked Fatui Harbinger. He has already appeared once in Genshin Impact Luna VII. Pantalone fosters a resentment towards the gods and their control over resources. He is obsessed with the idea of “Fair Exchange” and desires to reverse the natural imbalance between gods and humans. Pantalone is one of the few people who are working with Pulcinella to execute “Project Stuzha.”
Vodyanitsa
Vodyanitsa was the first revealed character in the new Snezhnaya trailer. She is shown getting ready for a singing performance. Her dialogue here is pretty ominous, as she mentions that the rules of Teyvat are all curses. As we all know, rules have been placed on Teyvat by the Heavenly Principles, so defying or cursing them is directly going against Celestia. The trailer confirms her vision to be Hydro, but knowing Hoyoverse, they can change it up later down the line.
Vodyanitsa shares many similarities with Robin of Honkai Star Rail, who is also a singer and an essential character in the HSR storyline.
Alyosha
Alyosha is the second Genshin Impact Snezhnaya character revealed in the trailer. He is shown speaking with Vodyanitsa in a friendly manner. However, during Vodyanitsa’s performance, Alyosha aims his rifle at one of the participants. He is then confronted by Valeriy, and that’s when we see Alyosha use a whistle to summon wolves to attack.
Odette
Odette is another character who seems to be in cahoots with Alyosha and Vodyanitsa. She is shown to stick to the shadows and then appear right behind the target Alyosha was aiming for before. It is clear that she is a sort of assassin in Snezhnaya, and the three of them are trying to transcend the rules that bind them in some way.
Valeriy
Valeriy is briefly shown when he confronts Alyosha to stop him from shooting one of the participants. This suggests that he is a security officer of some sort, and his dress also portrays it. Valeriy is a massive man, almost as big as Varka, and while attacking it shows a silhouette of a bear appearing out of him. Whether the bear is only symbolic of Valeriy’s strength or an actual summoning mechanic is yet to be known.
