‘Travels Are Fuller With Friends’ is one of the Holliday events in Genhin Impact 5.8, part of the Sunspray Summer Resort event. This minigame can be unlocked by completing ‘To a Carefree Vacation’ sub-quest. Head to the Easy Breezy Holiday Resort waypoint using the map. Once you reach this place, the main quest will begin automatically. Finish To a Carefree Vacation and you will unlock the Travels Are Fuller With Friends minigame.

Once you unlock it, head to Easybreeze Market and speak with Huilu. After you complete the conversation, the Travels Are Fuller With Friends challenge will become available. Speak with the NPC again to start the challenge. Now, you can select the stage you want to play and choose Start.

How to Play ‘Travels Are Fuller With Friends’ Event in Genshin Impact

‘Travels Are Fuller With Friends’ is a puzzle centric mini-game. The main objective of this mini-game is bringing all your companions to the finish line. Sounds easy? It isn’t as you will constantly encountering blocked passages. The only way to unlock these passages and reach the finish line is by correctly using your companions.

Companion Lineups

Every stage will have different companions that have different abilities. Some will be able to jump higher, while others will be able to move heavier boxes. On top of that, there are team up abilities that can become very useful. So, how to best use the companions? First, learn about the companions through the lineup screen on the stage menu.

Here you will be able to see what each of the companions can do. For example, Kau Kau can fit into small spaces and jump higher. However, he is weak and cannot move heavy boxes. Akamai on the other hand is big and burly. He cannot jump high, but he can do the heavy lifting. As both of them complete each other, using their roles properly will help you solve the puzzle.

Grab Nanas Cakes

When solving the puzzle, you will find Nanas Cakes floating around the level. These can be found on your main path, or hidden in a separate area. Grabbing these Nanas Cakes is important as they are a requirement for obtaining the max rewards for each stage. So, make sure to always prioritize grabbing them, even if you have to take a detour.

Reaching the End Line

The stage ends once all the companions have reached the end line. However, sometimes you will have to follow a order for the companions to reach the end line. For example, if Akamai reaches the endline first in stage 1, it only blocks the path for Kau Kau. So, you must make Kau Kau reach the endline and then follow up with Akamai to complete the stage puzzle.

Stages can also have different companions, making the puzzles more interesting. Here is a quick solution guide for each of the Travels Are Fuller With Friends stages.

Journey 1. A Tale of Two Boxes

The first stage for Travels Are Fuller With Friends event is pretty straight forward. Here is what you need to do:

Start with the bigger human companion and push the smaller saurian companion and the box before it towards the blocked passage.
Select the smaller saurian companion, Kau Kau, and drop down to reach the other side.

Push the box onto the golden button with Kau Kau to open the doors for Akamai, the big human companion.
Select Akamai and move past the previously blocked passage.

Use Kau Kau to grab the Nana Cakes above by jumping and then move both the companions to the finish line.

Journey 2. Of Doors and Duties

The second stage for Travels Are Fuller With Friends event is slightly trickier. Here is what you need to do:

Select the smaller saurian and use him to jump on top of the big human companion.
Now, you can jump to the red button above with the Saurian Companion. Do it to open the first blocked passage.

Once the passage opens, move the big human companion past the previously blocked passage, and grab the Nana cakes. However, don’t go past the Nana cakes at this moment.
Select the smaller guy again and push the small boxes above towards the golden button. Once the boxes falls on the button, it will open the final blocked passage.
