The Nod-Krai phase is expected to bring together tens of storylines and fill the gaps in the Genshin Impact lore. But what about all the new Nod-Krai characters?
Hoyoverse has finally revealed all the Nod-Krai characters in Genshin Impact, with leaked details about their release date, rarity, element, and weapon type. Combining this information with leaks, we have created a complete guide for all playable characters in Nod-Krai.

All Genshin Impact Nod-Krai Characters
The primary leak that we have, combined with the official reveal, comes from a trusted source (via Shiroha on Telegram), and it revealed the Genshin Impact 6.x (version Luna) roadmap. As most of the officially revealed characters align with this leak, it has gained more credibility.
This Genshin Impact Luna roadmap reveals every playable Nod-krai character along with their element and expected release date. Though the details come from a trusted leaker, we suggest you take this with a grain of salt, as some details might change close to release. So, without further ado, here are the characters that will become playable in Nod-Krai:

1. Lauma

The first 5-star character to feature in the Genshin Impact Nod-Krai banners is Lauma. She is a 5-star Dendro user with the Catalyst weapon, and she enables the Lunar-Bloom reaction for her allies. She is the Moonchanter of the Frostmoon Scions, in other words, their current leader. Lauma is a king and wise figure in the chaotic world of Genshin Impact, and often her pursuit to find calm resolutions leads to others misjudging her as weak.
2. Aino

Aino was the second new character featured in the Genshin Impact 6.0 / Luna I banners. She is a 4-star rarity and is the first Hydro Claymore user in the game. She is the genius behind many robots and is also the designer and caretaker of Ineffa. Considered a child prodigy, Aino is also the founder of Clink-Clank Krumkake Craftshop. She has created not only Ineffa, but many other intricate machines.
3. Flins

The next Genshin Impact 5-star character that became playable in the Nod-krai update is Keryll Chudomirovic Flins, a Lightkeeper. He is a lone guardian of the lighthouse and the graveyard on the Final Night Cemetery.
He is a young and courtly gentleman who often appears enigmatic and cold to those new to him. Flins is also one of the last Snowland Fae in Nod-Krai, and he can listen to the whispers of the Wild Hunt.
4. Nefer

Nefer is a Dendro 5-star character and, like Lauma, she also converts all Bloom reactions into Lunar Bloom. However, Nefer is a DPS character and not a support, and she can dish out a ton of bloom damage when built correctly. Nefer is also the head of the Curatorium of Secrets and a member of the Voynich Guild. She is one of the most respected figures in Nod-Krai and will often help others find the solution to the trickiest of problems.
5. Durin

- Role: Vaporize and Melt support
- Identity: The Human form of Durin, Hexenzirkel Mage
- Voice Actors: NA
- Release: Luna III
Durin is a 5-star Pyro character, and he is one of the strongest Pyro DPS units in the game. He is on par with Mavuika in terms of damage output and Pyro application, and has made his place in the highest of tiers in our Genshin Impact tier list. Durin also brought a ton of changes to the game with his release. Hoyoverse plans to buff older characters in Genshin Impact, giving them an additional ability by connecting them to the Hexenzirkel mages.
6. Jahoda

Jahoda is a young lady who works at the Curatorium of Secrets. She is a capable young woman who often self-doubts her abilities. However, Nefer fully depends on Jahoda and uses her whenever necessary, even against Jahoda’s wishes. She is a 4-star Anemo character with the bow weapon type.
7. Columbina

- Identity: The 3rd-ranked Fatui Harbinger, Moon Maiden
- Role: Lunar reaction support

Columbina will likely be the most sought-after character in Genshin Impact Luna versions. She is finally becoming playable in the Luna IV version, featuring in the first phase of Genshin Impact Luna IV banners.
Columbina is the moon maiden and ex-3rd-ranked Fatui Harbinger. The entire Nod-Krai storyline revolves around Columbina. She is a 5-star Hydro character with the Catalyst weapon type. She enables and buffs all lunar reactions for her allies.
8. Zibai

Zibai is the new Lantern Rite 2026 character who will feature in the phase 2 banners of Genshin Impact version 6.3 / Luna IV. She is the white horse adeptus and is heavily connected to the moon. Zibai will be a 5-star Geo character with the sword weapon type, and she will be a Lunar Crystalize DPS character.
She has also been linked with Istaroth, the Ruler of Time, one of the Four Shades in Genshin Impact, and one of the main culprits behind the Traveler’s sibling abandoning Khaenri’ah during the Cataclysm. With Venti already hinted to be Istaroth, the identity of this character is going to be highly significant.
9. Illuga

Illuga is a member of the Lightkeepers in Genshin Impact and the son of Starshyna Nikita. He is a positive person who manages all tasks efficiently, also offering careful, thoughtful support to his teammates. Illuga is a 4-star Geo character with the Polearm weapon type. Illuga will be a Geo support for Zibai and will appear in the Luna IV storyline.
10. Lohen

Lohen is one of the captains of the Knights of Favonius and is directly under Varka’s command. He is going to be a 5-star character, featuring in Luna V. From recent leaks, it seems that Lohen will be a Standard banner character.
11. Varka

- Role: DPS
- Identity: Grand Master and Knight of Boreus of the Knights of Favonius

Varka is the Grand Master and Knight of Boreus of the Knights of Favonius. He is known to be the strongest in Mondstadt. It has been known for a while that he is in Nod-Krai, taking care of some secret business, and has finally made an appearance in the Luna II version. Varka wields a massive claymore, which will likely be his weapon. His vision was also revealed to be Anemo, which makes sense as he is from Mondstadt.
Interestingly, Varka mentions that he came to Nod-Krai for the Moon, with the Moon subtitled as Monstadt. This hints that the moon may have some connection with Mondstadt. Varka becoming playable in Genshin Impact Luna VI will be a dream come true for many old fans, as he has been hyped since the beginning of Genshin Impact. Interestingly, Varka’s buffed model is bigger than any male character in the game till now.
12. Nicole Reeyn

- Identity: Mage (N), Spirit, member of the Hexenzirkel

Nicole Reeyn is a mage of the Hexenzirkel, codenamed “N”. She had previously appeared as a quest-exclusive NPC at the end of the Archon Quest As Though Morning Dew, but she was unidentified during this time. She makes her first appearance during the Archon Quest Hunters, Prophets.
Nicole Reeyn is a prophetess, studying Teyvat’s direction and order. She is also known as the “Guide who will never be lost” due to her nature of helping those in need of guidance. One unique trait of Nicole Reeyn is that she is mute and directly communicates through telepathy.
Her expected release date is Genshin Impact version 6.5, and she is rumored to be a multifunctional support.
13. Sandrone

- Identity: 7th Ranked Fatui Harbinger

Sandrone is the seventh-ranked Fatui Harbinger and is codenamed Marionette. She is said to be always engrossed in her research on Automatons. The Fatui Harbinger continues to play a major role in the Nod-Krai Archon quest, both as an antagonist and as an ally.
Sandrone is expected to be released in Genshin Impact Luna VII, and her element has been leaked to be Geo. She is going to be a 5-star character.
14. Alice

Alice is another popular character who has been hyped up for a long time in Genshin Impact. She first made an appearance during Durin’s questline in Genshin Impact 5.6. Alice is a powerful mage and the founder of the Hexenzirkel, a group of mages currently operating in Nod-krai. She is also the mother of Klee and a friend of Rhinedottir.
