Genshin Impact 6.0 will be the next big step in Teyvat’s storyline. This phase of the game will take players to Nod-Krai, an autonomous region in Snezhnaya. The Nod-Krai phase is expected to bring together tens of storylines and fill the gaps in the Genshin Impact lore. But what about all the new characters? A detailed new leak has today revealed potential playable characters in Genshin Impact 6.x, and many of them are very surprising names. Here are the Genshin Impact Nod-Krai characters leaked so far and how they can contribute to the upcoming storyline.
All Genshin Impact Nod-Krai Characters Leaked
A leak (via Shiroha, a trusted leaker) has been circulating on Reddit, revealing the Genshin Impact 6.x roadmap. This roadmap reveals every playable Nod-krai character along with their element and expected release date. Though the details come from a trusted leaker, we suggest you take this with a grain of salt, as some details might change close to release. So, without further delay, here are the characters leaked to become playable in Nod-Krai:
1. Male Lightkeeper
- Element: Electro
- Identity: Lightkeeper
- Role: Unknown
- Expected Release: 6.0 (Phase 1)
The first Genshin Impact character to become playable in the Nod-krai update is said to be a male Lightkeeper. Although we don’t know the character’s name yet, his being a Lightkeeper does hint at a lot of things.
If true, it appears that the first faction interaction the Traveler will have in Nod-krai will be with the Lightkeepers. This is likely true as the Lightkeepers are a faction that is fighting the Wild Hunt to keep the darkness away, which is something the Traveler is bound to stick their nose into.
2. Female Daughter of Frostmoon
- Element: Geo
- Identity: Daughter of Frostmoon
- Role: Crystallize, pseudo-Nilou, DPS
- Expected Release: 6.0 (Phase 2)
The next leaked character in Nod-krai is a female from the Frostmoon Scions faction. This faction has been rumored to be under Columbina, the third-ranked Fatui Harbinger.
We know little about this faction, but one tidbit that we learned back in version 5.3 is that this faction can use mysterious powers by worshipping the moon. This is said to be older than the powers granted by the Seven.
3. “Curatorium of Secrets” Lady Boss
- Element: Pyro
- Identity: Lady Boss of Curatorium of Secrets
- Role: Similar to Escoffier, multifunctional Support
- Expected Release: 6.1
The Voynich Guild is apparently the main governing body of Nod-krai, and it is led by the Lady Boss of the Curatorium of Secrets. We first got a sneak peek at the Voynich Guild’s lore in one of the Song of the Welkin Moon showcases.
We currently know very little about this faction or the character, but the leaks say that she will be a pyro-Escoffier with multifunctional support. Sounds interesting, right? Start collecting
4. Durin
- Element: Pyro
- Identity: The Human form of Durin
- Role: Vaporize, DPS
- Expected Release: 6.2
Durin’s new human form was already teased back in Genshin Impact 5.6. At the time, there were speculations that Durin would become playable at some point. Well, that day is soon approaching.
The leak comes as a pleasant surprise to fans as Durin is leaked to be featured in Genshin Impact 6.2. This is shocking as version 6.2 is expected to feature one of the main story arcs. So, it appears like Durin will play a much bigger role in the Nod-krai storyline than previously expected. This also hints at Albedo making an appearance in Nod-krai.
5. Columbina
- Element: Hydro
- Identity: The 3rd-ranked Fatui Harbinger and the Goddess of Frostmoon
- Role: Unique Hydro reactions, support and potential DPS, strong synergy with Nod-Krai characters
- Expected Release: 6.3 (Phase 1)
Columbina will likely be the most sought-after character in Genshin Impact 6.x. We have previously seen reports of her becoming a playable character in Nod-Krai, so this leak further strengthens that old claim.
Columbina is the 3rd-ranked Fatui Harbinger and has already made a couple of appearances in the story trailers. Her most iconic appearance takes place in the La Signora’s funeral story teaser, where we also get to see the other Genshin Impact Fatui Harbingers for the first time.
The leak describes her as the Goddess of Frostmoon, so she may lead the Frostmoon Scion faction in the story. We also learn that she has strong synergy with other Nod-krai characters and is a Hydro element user.
6. White Horse Fairy
- Element: Anemo
- Identity: Spirit of Istaroth
- Role: Pseudo-Nilou
- Expected Release: 6.3 (Phase 2)
White Horse Fairy is a character that’s expected to appear in the Phase 2 banners of Genshin Impact version 6.3. Although we know very little about this character, its identity and expected release date hint at them being an important story character.
The identity of this character is mentioned as Spirit of Istaroth, which has massive connections to the lore. Istaroth is the Goddess of Time and is one of the main culprits behind the Traveler’s sibling abandoning Khaenri’ah during the Cataclysm.
Its release date being in the same version as Columbina also hints at her importance in the Nod-krai storyline. Although we have no confirmation about its appearance, the Nod-krai teaser did reveal a spirit at the end, which could be the White Horse Fairy.
7. Varka
- Element: Anemo
- Identity: Grand Master and Knight of Boreus of the Knights of Favonius
- Role: DPS
- Expected Release: 6.5
Varka is the Grand Master and Knight of Boreus of the Knights of Favonius. He is known to be the strongest in Mondstadt. It has been known for a while that he is in Nod-krai, taking care of some secret business.
Varka becoming playable in Genshin Impact 6.5 will be a dream come true for many old fans, as he has been hyped since the beginning of Genshin Impact.
8. Nicole
- Element: Cryo
- Identity: Mage (N), Spirit, member of the Hexenzirkel
- Role: Backline, multifunctional support
- Expected Release: 6.6
Nicole is one of the mages of Hexenzirkel and also the narrator of the Nod-krai teaser released by HoYoverse. We know very little about this character other than her connection to Alice. However, it appears that she will be important to the Nod-krai storyline. Her expected release date is Genshin Impact version 6.6, and she is rumored to be a multifunctional support.
9. Alice
- Element: Pyro
- Identity: Mage (A), mother of Klee and founder of the Hexenzirkel
- Role: Main DPS, Great Incense Witch
- Expected Release: 6.7
Alice is another popular character who has been hyped up for a long time in Genshin Impact. She finally made an appearance during Durin’s questline in Genshin Impact 5.6. Alice is an extremely powerful mage and the founder of the Hexenzirkel, a group of mages currently operating in Nod-krai. She is also the mother of Klee and a friend of Rhinedottir.
10. Unknown Female Character
- Element: Unknown
- Identity: Guide of Snezhnaya
- Role: Unknown
- Expected Release: 6.8
The final character rumored for Genshin Impact 6.x is an unknown female character who is said to be the guide of Snezhnaya. This character will likely be responsible for taking us into Snezhnaya and may even play a bigger role in the 7.x story arc. However, the last version of Genshin Impact phases are generally fillers with fun stories, so don’t expect too much out of it yet.
